Siggs poor again today just not consistent enough for me needs dropping along with mina . 17 games played now and out of the 17 just how many games can we say we played really well and where outstanding we have won 6 lost 5 average comes to mind.

The difference between average and good is finishing those chances.
I would not say we have been average this season, I am trying to give an honest opinion and for me, game after game, we have been wasteful in front of goal.
Until we bang those chances away, we will keep dropping points.
We need to get someone in in January to kick start the second half of the season.
City, utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, our neighbours, all those games away are out of the way, a decent striker and we can turn those results around in the return at Goodison.
Like I say, we are not getting battered, we just need to get that mean streak in front of goal, and put those chances away.
Let’s see what uncle Brands brings us in the January sales.

Both defence and offence need sorting Nev. Playing this tippy tappy stuff out from the back is fine and looks good when you have the players who are comfortable doing it. It appears Silva is a fan, but sometimes we don't look good enough, and sometimes a more direct approach would be beneficial.

I agree big h, our first real chance came when Pickford played a quick ball upfield, a perfect cross and still not sure why Richarlison did not try to head the ball instead of a tough volley.
I still do not know why Pickford has to play the short ball out of the area to receive it back again, sometimes going back to the same defender and played back again.
A quicker direct ball upfield, win the knockdowns and bring Gomes into play further upfield.

Totally agree 6-8 passes just to get to the half way line puts the defenders under pressure that's how there first goal came about. is it Pickford or is silver telling him to do it? just kick the ball out.

mina needs dropping after one game? this is hwy our players always regress the fans demand they need dropping after one bad game with hurts confidence grow up.
