Without wishing to sound harsh, what would be the point in recruiting one 'sick-note' to replace/cover for another. Oh, and he's not all that good, ridiculously overhyped and would struggle to get a game in front of Barry and JMac.
If he could get himself fully fit and play a run of games, maybe he could come back and revert back to the position he was originally earmarked for, a centre back, maybe in a 3 as his distribution isn't as dire as Jags and Sly's.

Jack Rodwell return? No chance. Injury prone and over rated. You can bet your house martinez will be looking overseas for january reinforcements. Young continental players are a lot cheaper than British born players. Expect someone around rodwells age and position but this Rodwell story is just rumours.

Why would we have him back? If I remember correctly when he went to City he stated "it is a dream come true". Let him rot in City's reserves,
