Ed, some rumours have surfaced again regarding us taking Bony on deadline day.
In your opinion is this possible?

{Ed001's Note - yes, he is looking for an out and City want to sell. Nothing is agreed but there is interest from Everton in him, no idea if they can come to an agreement as his wages are high and the asking price is an issue.}

At least you no what you get from Bony Italian lad is a Is a gamble at that price . If we got Bony at 20-25 in my humble opinion it makes more Sence.

{Ed025's Note - the thing is tallaght that i think you can only play one of either bony or lukaku, if you have a mobile player like gabbiadini then you can play 2 up front, well thats how i see it mate..

Bony is useless in my opinion, back at swans he was the main man and definitely did well but truly think he over achieved. At City obviously not the main man and when he's played has been awful! Will not be 1st choice with us either, definitely do not want and honestly think he would be a similar standard to Kone.

Gabbiadini on the other hand is awesome, seen him play 5 or 6 times last season and has fantastic technical ability. Reminds me of Dimitar Berbatov a little bit, but he's not as lazy. Great left foot and good in the air. Bit of snide in him as well which some people hate, but i personally love it and think its needed.

Agree with ed025 regarding mobility, really want this transfer myself.

Pb771 I think bony is a quality player and will be are fall back option if gabbiadini doesn't happen mail saying we put in a new bid 21 mil which I think will be rejected hope we do sign the lad would give us someone with pace and movement up front with ROM but got a feeling that we aren't going to get this over the line can't see Napoli budging from there valuation of gabbiadini and we seem reluctant to match that fee.

You seen him play 5 or 6 times? You must of watched his every game last year😂
I'll be honest I'd never heard of him before we were linked and I bet not many had but I've just finished watching bits on you tube and these make poor players good and good players great and when I finished I thought he looked OK at best which is a worry cause Niasse looked great when I watched him.

Thanks Ed's. I thought Bony would have been a like for like replacement if Lukaku went which is why it was strange the rumours resurfaced.
Can't see Bony wanting to move to sit on the bench again and I can't see Lukaku being dropped if he finds his form of last season.

{Ed025's Note - me neither smit..

I agree there Ed but Bony would be a better option from the bench than Kone.

{Ed025's Note - he certainly would ST but we wont want to pay that sort of money for a bench warmer, and i doubt bony would come if that were the case mate..

Will it be either or eds or is there a chance of both?

{Ed025's Note - cant see both coming fanatic, this quality of player will not be happy unless they are starters mate..

At S1878, he played plenty of times last term. Of course he was behind Higuain, but he did get minutes. Higuain also got a ban late on in the season and Gabbi featured then.

He scored a screamer against Frosinone when Napoli won 5-1 (i think)

He also featured prominently in Europe and looked great against Midjtylland of Denmark, a side United struggled with.

Napoli are a very expansive attacking side, much like us. MG would fit into our style of play quickly in my opinion, which is something that is often a struggle when purchasing abroad.

And so let's get Brahimi and Gabbiadini then and Bony can be a fall back option
Add in a keeper and CM if McCarthy goes am sure that's why Mr Moshiri said ☺️.
