Blue boys, Rooney to sign in January with utd paying his wage and Everton signing him permenantly at the end of the season.

Heard that from someone inside the club.

Whether Rooney returns to Everton or not, I think it's time he called an end to his international career . Other players have benefited by doing this at other clubs to the benefit of both club and player. He could possibly extend his playing years by doing so.
Players that spring to mind John Terry and James Milner.

I think the lad isn't the type to hang up his international boots, I'd say he will not retire from the national set up when he is a few games short of the appearance record. Likewise, I don't see him leaving united until he has at least equalled Sir Bobby's goal tally for the club.

He won't pack in England until after the next World Cup. Or until they stop picking him. Whatever comes first.

Why on earth would United pay his wages and not take a fee and yet still allow him to play for a rival club?

Laugh all you want, buy it will happen.

No reason to make things up as I dislike the player and couldn't give a fruitbat about your club.

They have to get rid anyway as the Captain on the bench doesn't look good.

Anyway, who else would have him on them wages? The club don't want him and why would he uproot his family? He has to play.

Personally I think hisbheart isn't in it and he's a pure bobby and it would be a poor signing, but it would show an intention.
