If as looks like we are building a young exciting side then as some in the football media say players such delofeu (spelling) should be kept on or if no room at the moment temporary loans. Personally I would hold onto McArthy as well, this is more and more a Squad game and we need an engine room and players in reserve that can come in and replenish it.

I agree MEverton. Only problem is would Deulofeu and McCarthy be happy enough to be squad players? Or rather be with a club that they get more games?

Thank you Ed002. Was thinking something like that was holding it up.

{Ed002's Note - The second issue concerns whether Everton would be open to a loan to buy - and I suspect they will be OK with that. But the main driver is Barcelona.}

I have no issue with Del going but I hope JM stays. Although JM would not get in the first 11, I think, he would start a lot of games due to the rotation of the team when we play more games.
