So the Sigurdsson bid was turned down but I think we will be back in with more!
A lot saying he isn't worth more but I feel he will improve the team the main question is are we better than last year and I think it's a yes already.
The good thing now is we don't need to sit around waiting to sell a player in order to invest that money to move the team forward! We now have the infrastructure with our youth and scouting a top manager, a strong bunch of youngsters so a player like Sigurdsson would be a great addition!

i think gylfi will leave swans this year haven't got a clue as to what his preferred destination would be, but the rhetoric coming from s/ wales has gone from not for sale to not enough money so. however with spurs reportedly chasing his signature and the fact that he is being touted as cheaper than barks its an uneasy time in the chase for the player with spurs beating us to the punch in several windows recently. imo the more we are prepared to pay for him the more likely we are to win this particular race could be a blessing that swans want such a high price for him and a blessing if we pay it.
