With just 5 days left and us desperate for a number 9, someone to lead the line while banging in a few as well, I would rather go with what we have than spend a fortune to sign a 1 in 4 striker we'll struggle to get rid of in 6-12 months but hopefully there is one more for us to get excited about!

seeing this link to vardy in sunday rags, is something to cross the fingers on. altho it is quickly turned into a kick in the face when you think we are trying to outbid chelsea. first off we have to persuade him to leave lcfc and then to choose not to play champions league for arguably one of the best teams in europe. stupid! imo to even waste time trying, can't see leicester accepting 40 mill for him would think at least double that in current market. but if chel. are targeting him we should go all out for dembele from celtic.

He is 30, so even 30m would seem a lot of money. Remember Chelsea are use to throwing money away, where not.
