Wow Ed 025 Mr Moshiri dream move would be for Diego Simeone, what a manager and statement of intent by Everton, no more negatives please and no Sam either.

{Ed025's Note - that one came out the blue GB, cant speak a word of english and that could be a problem along with his fiery reputation mate but certainly sounds better than allardyce mate..

What a catch that would be though Ed if we did get him, never see a negative post on here again, heaven.

Where have you seen this. If true, a real statement of intent by the board.

seem to remember a certain m. pochettino couldn't speak a word of English for two years upon his arrival! by the way I am in no way saying we are getting someone no fat chance of that.

{Ed025's Note - i have had an update on simeone actually w from ED002 who has met the guy, he tells me that he can actually speak a little bit of english so my original statement was not actually true mate..sorry..

I said before of he would be my favourite manager to be at Everton out of anyone. Sadly I don't think we appeal to him yet. Hopefully some day.

my heads all over the shop, one minute big sam next simeone. roll up and place your bets.

{Ed002's Note - Forget Simeone. Walsh will get his way with the dream team of SA and Craig Shakespeare assuming the money can be agreed.}

Ed002 how much input does Walsh have in the process of finding a new manager?

{Ed002's Note - It is him who wants Allardyce and Shakespeare and he is the "football" person at board level. Dyche would be a better longer-term solution solution but Burnley will not want to be letting him leave right now. Unsworth is not the solution either. The club needs bettwe advice than they are getting.}

Hi Ed, If this Allardyce move is Walsh led then I feel the previous discussions we had about a Sporting Director are very much needed and Walsh should be moved sideways to head of scouting and player recruitment
Question is though what makes a good Sporting Director and could be possible candidates?

{Ed002's Note - The attributes are the need to co-ordinate all sporting aspects of the club, first team, youth teams, scouting systems, negotiation and act as a buffer between the board and the first team manager. There are no suitable candidates as Everton already have someone in the role.}

Get rid of Walsh, should have gone before koeman for me.

Ed25, I remember a certain poche at Southampton not being able to speak a word of a English as well and had an interpreter at press nterviews, seems to not have been a problem for him.

On a lighter note who remembers bob the pole, he was brilliant until he learned English and was coached how to play, went downhill after that.

{Ed025's Note - its not always a problem baz, poch by the way pretends not to speak good english to avoid the press mate..

Thanks Ed. It’s a pity we weren’t able to lure Monchi into the DoF role at the time.

{Ed002's Note - Monchi was another who was not going to be joining Everton.}

So in your opinion Ed02 it's Walsh being in the wrong role causing most of the problems at Everton? Just out of interest in your opinion who would you be going for? If you were hypothetically the third party advice?

{Ed002's Note - Walsh should not be in the job. Dyche would be a good option although Hoddle would be my pick.}

While we are at it Ed how about Jack Lester if Hoddle turned us down :-)

Hoddle with Rhino as number 2? Now that would appease the fans.

Surely to god, Sam Allardyce cannot seriously be getting the job?

It makes absolute zero sense to employ him, either in a short term role, or long term. Short term - he would have a little bit of an impact and make us difficult to beat, but would take the club backwards and we'd be worse off come the summer. Long term - the man is renown for playing ugly, boring football and would take us even further backwards as a club.

Why can't the people at this?
