I've said it before and I will say it again our defense looks a lot better when Holgate is playing. I would like to see Holgate and Keane playing together. Hopefully we can get in Tosun quickly and follow that rapidly with a left-back and an attacking mid-fielder who can pass.

Tosuns goal rate does not fill me with confidence one goal in every two games an that's in Turkey I've seen absolutely nothing of him has anyone else seen anything of him if so what's he like.

I agree, he’s another risk with no guarantee he will adapt to premiership football. Think we need him plus a second experienced forward, even a journeyman.

Agreed BlueMike. Been saying that about Holgate since last season. Personally imho we could hold out for a centre back until the summer. Between Holgate, Keane, Jags and Williams there is enough cover there for now. I know Jags and Williams are getting old but Keane and Holgate are very young for centre back. Mori has to come back too. Weather he will make it or not.

Left back and striker is what we need. Maybe a winger as well.

Shakey - I agree re his goal rate BUT
The goals he scores are with his head, his right foot, his left foot, in the area and from outside.
I have also read from the Turkish supporters that he is non stop in terms of chasing down - something we have lacked for some time.

It is a risk. Vast majority of signings are ( see Michael Keane) but if he can score one in 3 here and start the defending from the front - then that will do me.
Marcus Bent had a far worse scoring record but pulled his tripe out for the team. And look where that got us.
