Hi eds, any truth in Moshiri wanting to use Raiola as an adviser for recruitment? Cheers.

{Ed025's Note - apparently its true joe..

That would definitely put him in the good books.

There’s been something between Moshiri and Ratola for a while. He seemed to be very cushty with the Lukaku deal. To me he seemed to be pushing the contract extension only for Lukaku to have a voodoo moment (according to Moshiri) . I’m not sure how to take this news. One thing is for sure, there’s a lot to be said about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer still.

I agree with above comments especially Toffee ace about keeping enemies closer. Doesn't help making a deal with the devil though. All that man wants is $$$. I suppose there is huge potential for us to benefit on the field by getting closer to his connections.

Surely we got to get it right sooner or later eh.

If it's true re Moshiri and Raiola it's a sad indictment of where we are as a club and of football in general. Raiola's a parasite, a very rich parasite.

Apparently Raiola is very close to Marcel Brands aswell,
Could end up being really good for us, you never know.

i think it was pirlo who said that raiola once ate a bunch of snails for a bet, doesn't really sound like the most likeable guy indeed ed.

{Ed025's Note - mino loves money ET and will stop at nothing to get his hands on it mate..

Raiola typifies everything that is wrong with the game, but look what a similar relationship with Mendes has done for Wolves. I’m not sure whether I don’t want him anywhere near the club or an “if you can’t beat them, join them” attitude. Like it or not agents are part of the game now and seem to have huge influence over players, so I think I’d rather have him on our side than against us.

Who loves money more than the tosser who is our manager at this time.

{Ed025's Note - fair point robbo..

Its apparently to be part of a recruitment overhaul with Brands as DoF. One things for sure, parasite or not, he has a pool of talent that we could possibly benefit from. Times they are a changing and the nice guy always finishes last so maybe a deal with the devil may finally have us challenging.

Absolutely.
LFC made the mistake near on 30 years ago, appointing Roy Evans. That was the signal to all top clubs that the days of "jobs for the boys" was over.

We need to get over this romantic notion and get in the real world.

Ed 2 has always said for moshiri to get better advice surrounding manager and player recruitment. Who better than one of the world's top agents? (I don't like him and think he is a money grabbing, slimy rat) but if we are successful then I will forgive him everything. Hahaha.

After All, we would all do the same in his position.

As fans, we’re very emotional about our club - and we love to see the players, manager, coaches, etc., (even the board! ) showing passion, BUT I want the people running our club to be businessmen who make rational (not sentimental) decisions. If that means using a “super-agent” - or any other person with the club’s best interests at heart - then I’m OK with that. It’s whose best interests (are being served - the club’s or the individuals’ involved - that I’m concerned about.
