Yeah it's looking like it's time to accept the kid isn't for us.
He will be a star somewhere that I'm sure but why keep him if he wants out?

I hope it's mischief making from the lazy press but the smoke has been pouring out for a while with this kid.

Anyway, we need performers ready now, not being distracted fighting over someone who might be good in 2 years.
We already have a club with a fantastic academy, I'm not knocking it in anyway. i'm defending myself from anyone claiming we need youth.

Yes we do, and we have it. Just this guy obviously wants 1st team football, I respect that.

Not just Silva Ed. Koeman, Unsie and even Fat SAM didn’t like / trust him. Surely that tells us something? The kid has ability without doubt but he only does it in patches. Not shown the consistency for me so if he goes, so be it. Just hope we get a sell on clause because he COULD be a top player.

{Ed025's Note - but hes only a kid dave so i think we can forgive the odd mistake mate, but as you say managers dont always see what we see and im sure they know what they are doing...except for big sam of course..

Team comes first. His ability is clear for all to see so you’d have to assume his attitude is suspect or he’s unhappy. Either way, there are other young, talented players in the world who would want to play for us. As you rightly said Ed, up to Silva/ Brands to work it out.

No issues with the ‘odd mistake” but he has seemingly been unhappy for past 18 months or so. We’ve only seen his ability in cameos so, if he doesn’t want to be here,

As I say, just make sure we get a sell on clause.

Like I said in the banter post. it appears all the comments about Lookman being unhappy are coming from the Leipzig boss. I can only think he is trying to unsettle Lookman and Everton.

{Ed002's Note - Lookman wanted assurances and is now having to watch Everton hunt around for players in his position - the likes of Rebic, Malcom, Brahimi and Richarlison all being mentioned. He knows he can get first team football in Germany and certainly Trimboli has spoken to the likes of Southampton, Arsenal, Spartak and Crystal Palace as well as RBL.}
