So what's changed? . since Moyes left what has actually changed? . other than shelling out over the odds for average players and promises of success from a billionaire investor nothing has changed.
Same old story. injuries, bad luck, poor decisions are the same excuses being used from Martinez and before long Silva too.

How can an unproven manager who jumps ship more often than Uncle Albert be the answer?
Yet again we have the promise and all die hard fans are sucked into the "plan". what we actually have is 6 points from what should be 15 with probably the easiest start to a season any manager could hope for never mind a new one with a statement to make.

Why o why is it always Everton that allow the "bad run" to end be it a team or individual player?
The kids are not good enough, Schneiderlen is not good enough, Tosun is not good enough. I could go on!
Ferguson must go and Silva needs to show very quickly why the owners have put so much faith in him because I for one cannot see it!

kids aren't good enough yet kenny was one of best on the pitch, morgan not good enough yet we have fell apart every time he hasn't been on the pitch.
you talk about getting sucked into the plan then proceed to waffle about statements to be made? is that not the same thing, suck it up mate and either support or go follow city if you just want an easy ride.

Jumping on the manager after 5 games is just ridiculous. I'm pretty sure every one of us would want more points than we have. Yes some did get a little carried away with all the optimism but if the alternative is just being miserable and banging on about Moyes then sorry I'll be with optimists.
Things may not work out you may be right, but excuses or not you cannot say injuries/ suspensions have done Silva any favors.
We bought in a lot of players, but unlike other coaches Silva did not try and rush them all into the team, he was patient and it was looking OK. Silly suspensions and a few injuries later and he has been forced to play players who either aren't ready or aren't in form.
Recruitment wise Richarlison, Digne both look class, Bernard showed he may be too and they are all new recruits. There is plenty still to be optimistic about but for some reason you would prefer not to see it!

Some did the exact same thing last season with Koeman and look at the teams we had to play then in the first 6 games. Will Silva last past Christmas? Injuries will play no more bigger part than it did for Koeman. What will, is the fans ability to stay patient with the management and team until they gel. Silva's change in playing style may give him a little more leeway with some but as you can see some fans are not happy already. For me its fundamentally down to the argument of what type of football are we prepared to watch. Pragmatic football based around defensive solidity that gets results occasional wins mainly draws, but not pretty to watch or a more expansive attacking game that is high risk in the fact that we need to score more than concede. To me it looks like the same situation ManU are currently in the process of trying to figure out with Mourinho. It's said patience is a virtue and I can see why. Patience is what we need but whether Silva get enough, time will tell.

You can look for blame in so many ways but quite simply defensive errors like a suicidal throw out by Pickford, ball watching centre backs and strikers that could not hit the pre verbial barn door!
Ifs and buts except the outcome and the post motel would have been very different!
