Apparently he has already swerved Chelsea to help with the fight to stay in the Prem mate. Commendable if so.

The lad came across as a good egg in his interviews and people who have worked with him in his short career have only said good things.

Were he to go to Arsenal, i wouldn't blame him one bit.

I said when we signed him that he would be here for no longer than 6/ 18 months.

Still baffles me that some don't think he has played well for us. He is playing in an utterly terrible side. Everything he is supposed to be doing, he is doing. When he wins the ball for us, he looks up at statues, no runners and nobody who wants to take the ball from him. Swap them out for the likes of Saka, Odegaard etc and he will quickly and comfortably become one of the highest rated CM's in the league. Imo, he already is. Problem is that he is playing with absolute cannon fodder.

If I look at F1 they have provided good support to allow Maclaren win the occasional race. EFC would crave that thing called winning.

I think Onana is ace too but JWPs first goal and Bowens second he was watching when he should have tracked. Small things but critical moments.

Unfortunately he’ll be off to play champions league at the end of the season, from what I’ve seen so far he’s a great player. I guess the only plus is we’ll make a quick and tidy profit on the 30 odd million we spent on him.
