So the squad has been named for pre-season training camp has been selected with two glaring omissions, Holgate and Gbamin. Not sure if either have an injury or whether this is an indication of a couple more expected out of the door before the season starts. Anyone know any more on this?

{Ed002's Note - Everton will exclude players they are looking to move on including Holgate and Gbamin. Others who are not 100% fit will stay back to assist their recovery.}

It is a pretty depressing squad to be honest, 28 players of which I would only want to see maybe 8 or 9 max anywhere near our matchday squad and half of those on the bench at best.

No Mykolenko either, don't think he is injured so are we looking at moving him on? Would he be a big loss?

Did hear Holgate might have got injured in training before they went (although I know I'm the only fan who still actually likes him)
