Clubs official website confirms john lundstram conor mcaleny tyias browning ibou touray jake bidwell and luke garbutt will not be signing new deals and will officialy become free agents as of june 1st

We constantly seem to waste money and spending time on these youngsters and when its time to move on to 1st team then we give them away and in a few years buy them back. wallace. baxter. duffy never got a decent chance in my opinion anyway. who came thru rooney then sold rodwell then sold barclay odd game here and there wigans mcmanaman we give away? john ruddy goalkeeper and last question when was the last merseyside goalkeeper given a chance I think it was albert dunlop 50 yrs ago what do we do with or young keepers its a crime not one scouse keeper in 50 yrs. everton need a good overhaul right thru the club in my humble opinion. tp.

Lundstram contracted until June 2015, McAleny June 2014, Bidwell June 2014, Garbutt is out of contract on 30 June 2013, likewise Touray and Browning. However, like the vast majority of our under 18s, Touray and Browning are on one year rolling contracts. They, like the rest of our under 18s, will be hoping they have impressed enough last season to earn another contract.

Im pleased its only seems to be a rubbish rumour BUT I stick to my comments about youngsters rarely coming thru and esp my goalie question not one scouse goalie in 50 yrs is a scandal poss andy rankin 1963 gordon west was blackpool lad please help me on this one as it seems an amazing fact. tp.

As a ex Everton academy goalkeeper I can tell you the keepers that come into the Everton academy have the best possible training from Kevin O'Brien and the club. I do see your point and it's a shame no local lad has yet made the 1st team. I'm sure it will happen some day soon.

Thanks for that mate I agree with you over kevin obrien I know he's very good but I think there's an amazing stat that no scouse keeper for everton for over 50 yrs and liverpool the same except for tony warner this is my opinion. I welcome somebody to tell me otherwise. tp.
