Us United fans are in the same position as you's here. We don't want them either! Baines will cost too much for his age, and Fil isn't good enough. Please keep them! Worth 35Mil tops for both in my opinion. Hope we have other options {Ed025's Note - then why bid for them?

Because we've run out of other options, is the only possible answer I can think of. Fergie was a fan of Baines and with him being one of the best in the league it's no surprise. It's his age that's the issue for me. Fil, in his own right, is a quality player, but I don't think he would fit in with our current style of play, and while I don't think Everton are just a long ball team, I do think he would affect our style of play negatively. The issue at the moment, for us and Arsenal, is that there's not much about without paying silly money.

That makes no sense. Rooney is younger and more important than Baines in term of world football. He's the face of almost everything Manchester United.

If u can't see or understand how good baines is then u really don't deserve him for any price. The man who created more chances than anyone else in a major European league, from left back! The blokes a class act so doesn't fit with the mancs whinging eleven.
