During today's game I felt the emotions that many Evertonians will have. Immense pride in the performance of the whole side, which included some individuals who have been vilified by many. I will also include the manager in this, who has remained dignified during a period where he has been ridiculed. Well done Roberto for conducting yourself in a manner that befits our great club.
For the first time as an Evertonian I felt ashamed and embarrassed by the actions of a few. Our club was once the envy of many, but this minority has dragged this great club down to the level of the classless mediocre has been's and also ran's. Shame on them.

{Ed025's Note - a lot seem to echo that sentiment SB, i would like to maybe hear from someone who agreed with the idea or even one of the perpetrators to explain exactly what they hoped to achieve..

I agree Ed. It it simply coincidence that this happens when the Blue Union is rearing its ugly head?

{Ed025's Note - it is presumptuous of you to blame them SB, it could have been anyone mate, i have said before that the BU have on the whole got the welfare of the club at heart, but there are fractions within it who shall we say cross the line..

I agree again Ed and I am not pointing the finger directly, but we both know that irrational individuals do like to jump on bandwagons. Indeed, had the result gone the other way there are probably a couple of posters who would've agreed with those actions. Anyway, this is getting a little deep now and I'm just glad that we won!

{Ed025's Note - i am too SB, nights like this are here to be enjoyed mate not to dwell on the negatives..

One positive to come out of it Ed is that it would appear to have united genuine supporters, which can only be good for all of us who have the clubs best interests at heart.

Are there any supporters for the banner at St. Marys on this site? Perhaps they could explain to us what they hoped to achieve. If it was publicity they now have it, so step forward from the shadows and explain the actions taken.
