. it's going to be Pellegrini folks. he will be Evertons new manager. & b4 you all start whinging and moaning you need to get your head out of the clouds and realize what an excellent manager he will be and is a good fit for our club. check out his management record - it's excellent and his record at Malaga and Villarael is particularly impressive guiding both teams to their highest league finishes on record and entry to the Champions league and in fact the latter stages of the champions league with Malaga. he also has done well at Man. city and in my opinion things only spiraled somewhat when the owners announced Guodiola taking the reins. this guy is vastly experienced and has manager clubs at the very top I. e. - Real Madrid etc and although his particular strength in ability seems to be at clubs like Everton which are similar to Malaga and Villarael where they haven't had much success in a long while and are pushed in the right direction and i'm led to believe that Farhad Moshiri thinks the same and that if Koeman as expected confirms his extended contract later this week at Southampton Manuel Pellegrini will get the job. I think he will do a great job at efc next season and we all need to get behind him and the team from the outset.

I'd have him Sol, prefer Koeman/ FDB/ Emery but would not be upset if Pellegrini came, some fans don't want him at all though mate but everyone has their opinion.

I happen to agree, people are going on about him finishing 4th with that squad but they were going pretty well until guardiola was announced. He always handles himself impeccably and you just have to look at the kind of clubs he's managed to know its a step up.

Agree to a certain extent Soli. I think he is underrated and done ok to good at City. People do get too hung up on the money. He did have plenty at City but still done ok. On a whole his time there has been good. How much influence he had to put up with from 'higher' people he only knows.

I'd be happy with him. Definitely an improvement on Martinez. Only slight concern is defense. But I think it would be ok and he would be a good fit for the club.

. he did a brilliant job at Malaga. I think when he comes he'll bring 1 or 2 of the Man City players wiv him. maybe Hart, Bony or Navas.

I would settle for pellegrini because the longer it goes on the more chance it has of being Moyes. Don't want navas though, awful football player and it is a concern that he got the most minutes for man city this season.
Still think there is a chance of emery or koeman but if not then pellegrini would do a solid enough job.

As most people would agree - Pellegrini is not my first choice, but as the list of potentials gets smaller, I'd prefer him over Moyes all day long.
