I understand the 'battle of egos' etc. . . however methinks that if this was to happen, it would not be the result of an after thought!
No I would assume it to be the end game of calulated 'moving and shaking' with the intention of re-creating a football power house that they could claim was their own doing, a waterfront stadium, CL football and we could be to them a most valuable commodity when the time comes for them to sell .
