As the Eds keep reminding us, we - the fans/ posters - should stop being concerned about how much money the club has to spend or what we should or shouldn't be bidding/ paying for players.
Modern transfers are bonkers as are the wages for top players and there are strict FFP, etc., rules about how much a club can spend compared to income.
So, let's leave the finances to those running the club.
Instead, we as fans/ posters should talk about which players we'd like at our club, which ones we want out, which signings have surprised (and pleased! ) us, which are baffling, who'd improve us, and does RK's playing style impress us. That's more than enough for lively banter and rumours and gossip, surely?

To be fair Sid its fun to talk about how much we think a player is worth and its been going on for decades.

As ED002 keeps saying finances and prices for players are unimportant and we shouldn't be concerned. However, people can still have their fun and have moan at what a player is worth and whether we should pay the money.

Must admit the fees are always at the back of my mind. Yes I know it's not my money, but it's my clubs future that's being played with. I hope I'm wrong and I must admit I cannot get my head around these over inflated prices. 30m for Bolasie? I think it's overpriced. I'm not saying he's a bad player. My concern is we buy a few players at this ability: price ratio, and then when we get to the level we want to 'buy big' we've already done the money Mr Chairman was willing to spend on us. Remember, the money wasn't 'splashed' till stones went. I hope I'm wrong and we've got it coming out our ar$es. I'm just not used to cash as an Evertonian.
