I don't think Everton fans are pissed that the Sissoko deal fell through that much. We got promised without sales significant funds, withoutal a figure. We sold Stones for £48m give or take. We signed Stek for £1m, Williams for 9m that's £10m. Let's bump up Gana's fee to £8m for arguments sake = £18M. Bolasie for 28max is £46m. The future propects £4m max = £50m at absolute max. Plus Valencia on loan, we are talking about spending £3m. Then take into account our players on loan and we near enough break even with record TV money and a new backer, amazing! Please Eds explain this.

{Ed002's Note - I cannot explain your random numbers - I can explain that it is nothing to do with income - and I have explained all summer.}

These are all reported fees. I'm not saying they are 100% accurate but please tell me besides Southampton who has spent as little as Everton? By that I mean money spent against sales. We were promised "signifant" funds without sales, that was promised. How has the board backed those claims? Everyone knows we have been ripped again! Rumours cost nothing.

{Ed002's Note - I have not thought about it but I have dragged on the reins since day one.}

Valencia will only be with us for a year unless he is spectacular. It is a business and we are low down in the pecking order at least for now. Players will even choose Leicester over us based on one year. We have to get into Europe or close this year otherwise we will see the same in next summers transfer window.

Mike I know that so why didn't we go after Bony? He was the best of the rest strikers outv there in the Prem? Surely Wilshere with us is better than Bournemouth? If that move works out they will close the gap. Chambers? Boro have a decent player there! Where are our middle men to sort it out? Arteta on loan was a gamble . We are stuck between thinking that kid has potential, like we did with Lescott and Cahill and making a mega signing and doing nothing.

Wilshire, honestly? The same lad who has spent more time in the treatment room than Gibson, what a signing that would be! Some fans need to reign themselves in a bit. So what we never did much business on deadline day, it has still been a productive summer. We had our backsides spanked by Sissoko leaving very little time to do anything else. We can get to the next window and see where the land lies then. Why some are being so negative really is amazing, ungrateful and petty.

I can only summise that the reason we didn't go for Bony is that we had a better signing in mind, which obviously didn't work out.
