What worries me is that since the first day, Koeman's demeanour and discourse has felt like a man at the end of his tenure, rather than at the beginning of one.

Even ignoring the fact that he is Dutch (renowned for being awkward), and his outspokenness, he has never felt to me like a man that wants to be here or is enjoying himself.

I've no idea if he was like that at Southampton, but he just seem like he is going through the motions. Maybe he feels like he has made a mistake in coming to the club, or there's something else going on - but what I see is a team that doesn't want to play for a bloke that doesn't want to be here.

{Ed033's Note - Are you sure you're an Everton supporter?

We had a conman, who talked a good game, he failed to deliver. This guy is the real deal, but it will take time, I know we paid him a lot to join the club, but I don't doubt his commitment, he tells it like it is, and that realisation is the first step on the road to real long term improvment.

I am passionate Evertonion but have to agree with Skylark. RK seems to be going through the motions a bit. he has a track record of going on to bigger things if the opportunities arise hence the reason I am not buying into the "project" so to speak. he does speak his mind which is a good thing but some of the players are not having it. I have heard players such as Del boy are looking away whether it be this jan or the summer.

In regards to the conman ( martinez) yes he did talk a good game and you have to remember his first season with us plus the cup runs - no trophies but at least it gave the supporters something to support. with this current manager I do not see the same happening. I was for keeping martinez and give him a few bob to spend or give the job to Unsworth with Big Dunc as assistant - could we be in any worse situation.

You took the words right out of my mouth Ed033.

{Ed033's Note - On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

I am sure Ronnie will come good, still stick to the Joe Royle, Dave Unsworth as my preference, Unsworth to learn from Joe and a good combination for Unsworth for the future.

TBH Intel I wouldn't give a cupcake if del boy went in January as he offers nothing when used and is out of breath after 10 minutes. His fitness levels for a professional are awful and I would much rather have had Adama Traore over him. I believe we missed a trick not getting him as he is more direct and has pace also bit doesn't try the stupid step overs constantly. We are a club in transition and the squad is not RK squad as of yet. He has a philosophy he wants to instill and for that you need the right personell which ATM we do not have.

Female response: "Yes"

Male response: "I bet you say that to all the boyz"

Can't beat a bit of Meatloaf Ed033.

{Ed033's Note - Can't beat a bit of Bully either!

I disagree with people saying he does not want to be with us and is going through the motions.

I think he has maybe at most underestimated the enormity of the task of rebuilding us, At best he at least would of thought that 75% of the squad only needed re-motivating to get back into winning ways, whereas in reality re-motivating will not work and we need replacements in all positions.

He has three years in which to work his magic and then I think he will move on, but at same time many more big named managers will also of moved on so recruiting a new one should present us with no problems. The days of the managers staying long term are behind us now.

I think he will deliver on his promises whilst wishing at the same time that he knew just how bad we were before joining us.

Koeman today will know who is going to stay and who he needs to get rid of. In the summer and even after the window closed he won't have had a clue. Now though he will have a clear plan of action and more importantly has support in Walsh singing from the same hymn sheet.

Next season will be much different but this year will be frustrating a lot of the time.

He's still only been at the club for 5 months and two of those were nor in competitive football. We are in the top half of the table a position better than last year with the potential of strengthening in January. Koeman is not interested and he is 7th and an interested Martinez finished 11th and you want Martinez?! Are you absolutely crazy?! It amazes me the short sightedness of some fans.

The season is far from over in November and if it was 7th would be taken by any blue out there.

And bluegrey, I love you. I've said the same things. Del I think needs a check up because he has the lung capacity of a 60 a day smoker. I like the lad but my God.
