Hi Ed haven't seen the match today but really chuffed we won 6.3, but R K will not be happy about letting 3 goals in today, i saw the match against Stoke and we seemed quite tight at the back, what was the reason today any ideas cheers, GuernseyBlue.

{Ed025's Note - the defence was poor GB, and the midfield attacking wise were very good but defensively inept, we panicked a bit to be honest mate..

I agree Ed025. Their 2 goals rattled us. We were stunned by it. The 2 goals were very bad defensively by us. Players just not clued in mentaly if you ask me. Probably felt too comfortable being 3 goals up.

What impressed me most about today was how we recovered. It was brilliant. It took a while for the players to settle after conceding the 2 but then the players hit back and dug deep to get a convincing win in the end. Koeman is brilliant with subs. Not sure about taking McCarthy, as in was it because of injury or what. He did score one and assisted another so I'd be surprised if it wasn't to do with an injury.

We truly have the grit and determination we were so lacking before. Koeman getting his methods in place. People saying we might catch Utd. I don't think we will. More like we might catch the other half. They are on the slide. They'll be lucky to finish in top 6 the way they are going. Utd overall are I proving a lot this last couple of months. Expect them to climb over the dark side and maybe even City.

We have a good momentum. After today no doubt defense will be worked on. Maybe even a return for Jags. I bet he's chomping at the bit to get back in.

It's interesting how in the two games McCarthy has started recently we lost control of the midfield when he was subbed (the reds and today) .

Think the contribution he makes is hugely underestimated (especially by a lot of our supporters) so it's good to see him getting recognition lately.

{Ed025's Note - he just like ross has had the koeman treatment CT, they have been told a few home truth,s and told that if they dont buck their ideas up then they are out the door...and its working a treat mate..

Agree CToffee. His contribution goes unnoticed. Think Koeman has got a proper sense of the players and have changed his mind slightly on McCarthy. He changed his mind on Deloufeu. Started good but hasn't got much of a look in. Looks like the reverse for McCarthy.

Just think we have too many defensive mids. nothing personally against McCarthy. but the manager has achoice of McCarthy, Barry, Gana and Davies to fill one or two positions. that is just healthy competition and something we never had before.
