Looking to get me friend Everton tickets for his birthday and was wondering if any of you guys could a suggest what section of the stadium to get tickets, somewhere with good atmosphere and rough cost

AR cost will be £38-£40. I have only ever been in the main stand or the top balcony but I hear the lower Gwladys st has great atmosphere.

I think the way things are developing you will be able to sit anywhere and the ground will be rocking.

With record season ticket sales, you will be lucky to get a seat anywhere unless obstructed view, keep an eye on stub hub website for fans who cannot get there and sell their tickets on that website. but for view and atmosphere, Park end all Day long for me.
