Are we all complaining about spending money now bloody hell the men at the top can't win we wait years for money and you lot complain when we get is anyone worth the money these days stop complaint boys and enjoy the rid.

Enjoy the rid? Personally I'd rather have a longer rid at the top than Leeds did. Never gave out once when we couldn't spend money. Understood that a business has to look after itself and ensure its continuity.

Same as spending too much. I'd be delighted if the club spent £500m this summer. On one condition, that they can afford it.

Have every faith with the people are there at the moment. Wrote a post only days ago praising BK for pulling the club from the bottom of the table to where it is now.

In my DNA not to overspend. That's probably why I personally am a little apprehensive when the club starts splashing the cash. As I said imho its fine provided to can afford it. Being wise with the money have and using it to the best of its ability I feel will be crucial to breaking into CL places.

Maybe you were referring to Evocallum saying its about time we over spend. I don't agree with that. Spend, yes. Over spend, never.

Yes Ed002 there was more to it than the bit you highlighted there. Just because I said 'I'd be delighted if the club spent £500m' doesn't mean it stops there.

In the context of the conversation we were having it was appropriate. It was hypothetically speaking because I was saying I don't like Everton spending big. My point was as long as they stay within their means I don't care how much they spend. £500m was me being purposely exaggerated to get my hypothetical point across.

I understand FFP rules fine. I wasn't bringing it in to get my point across to the posts above mine. Perfectly aware that Everton will not be spending even half of that figure. It was just the way the conversation went.

You remind me of my father. I'm very fond of him but given just a sniff of a chance to put someone down he'll do it as much as he can. Even when he doesn't get the point the person is trying to make. I don't hold it against him. Its just his generations mindset and way of carrying on.

Ok Ed002 if you can't understand the simple point I was making that's fine. My understanding of the finances are fine and have nothing to with the point I was making. I think that's where your having trouble.

I'm not talking about just me being put down by you. It's a regular theme with your posts. That's why so many on here get annoyed with some of your put downs when you post.

We all appreciate and value your tremendous input and knowledge but that doesn't mean you need to put people down or even comment on people when they are discussing certain topics.
