Having been an avid reader of this forum for a long time, I've taken the plunge and registered as a user.
As a lifelong Evertonian, it's great to see how Farhad Moshiri is transforming the club's finances - not by splurging his own money like a sugar daddy, but rather by his business acumen getting good commercial deals and sponsorships. Plus he's clearly determined to achieve success. It's certainly true that money attracts money, and he's doing that for Everton.

{Ed007's Note - Welcome aboard, Bobby.}

Couldn't agree more Bobby. Mosh seems a class act. Not one of these owners who wants the limelight. He has a passion for the game and is used to being successful in what he does. He's setting us up to compete at the top table of European football for years to come. Back where we belong at last!

Welcome Bobby, look forward to reading your views on here bud. Let's enjoy the Everton revolution together, it's going to be as bumpy as watching Andy Murray at Wimbledon lol.

I've never bought into the idea of “where we belong”. Our history is great, our present is very promising, but our future will only be successful if we’re smart and work hard (on and off the field) . Other than getting a little bit of good luck along the way, Everton Football Club has to earn a place at the top table that's based on performance. Too many other clubs (and their fans) - home and abroad - think they deserve to be always at the top as a matter of “right”. I say that every club has to earn success and every club - no matter how big or small - has a right to try to be the best they possibly can based on a level (as far as can be reasonably regulated) playing field.

I agree bud football moves so fast if you stand still a second you lose a year. This summer has been great and think, when Coleman and Bolaise return it's like getting 2 amazing signings. We are not far off having an amazing squad. I believe Benteke, if only for a couple of seasons would be an excellent signing.
