carried on, instead buys 5 midfielders who all want the ball to feet.

{Ed025's Note - for me rooney has to be dropped uran, its like everything has to go through him and its affecting the game of the other players siggy looks lost as a winger and should be running the show for me, playing with 2 DM,s does not help either and the reluctance to play lookman or mirallas to add some width and pace is just another reason why we look so poor mate..

I’ve tried to stay positive over the past few weeks to allow changes in mental approach and familiarisation with each others play to kick in, however it is now clear, and has been for a number of games, that the system is not working.
The banter on here, the newspapers and TV commentaries and reports all say the same thing, we have no pace, no outlets and 4 number 10s who have no out ball to play.
So my question is if everyone else can see it, why can’t Koeman. Is he stubborn, arrogant or incompetent, whichever, he is becoming a danger to EFC the club we all love, and I’m sorry to say it but we need a change and we need one now as I cannot see him changing.
On Sunday Burnley will be coming with the attitude that they can roll us over, and Everton, if Koeman persists with the same selection, will be so terrified that they will collapse under pressure. For that reason we have to take a completely different approach to this game and style of play, with the introduction of players not tarnished by their current form, and a team that will put Burnley on the back foot from the off.
I would propose a starting 11 of – Pickford, Baines, Holgate, Jagielka, Keane, Gueye, Sigurdsson, Vlasic, Lookman, Niasse and DCL.
Unfortunately what we will see is – Pickford, Baines, Williams, Keane, Martina, Gueye, Rooney, Sigurdsson, Schneiderlin, Klassen and Niasse, and for this reason Koeman needs to be replaced.

{Ed025's Note - sadly i think your right chalkie, but i diont think you can play gueye and schneiderlin in the same side either, i recon koeman is running out of time and that the next few weeks will be pivotal and i would love him to turn it around but i feel i may be being a bit optimistic mate..

I'm with you Chalkie. I've tried to stay positive but if anything we seem to be playing worse each game.

Williams is past it, Schneiderlin looks terrified every time the balls comes to him, Rooney's burnt out within an hour because he's trying to play every position himself and Koeman's managed to turn a fantastic player (Sig) into someone who poses no threat because he's doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing.

Add to that Klaasen and Sandro who tear around the pitch not producing anything and this season is turning into the most expensive disaster in PL history.

Agree ED, Sigurdsson for creativity and Gueye for tenacity, however I fear RK is not with us on this. Unless we see an alternative to his current selections I'm all out of optimism.

{Ed025's Note - me too im afraid chalkie..but lets hope that changes soon mate..
