Whilst I am not a Koeman fan as I feel that his managerial style and man management techniques are not in-keeping with the modern game, coupled with his tendancy to look everywhere else for reasons for our demise I would still not like us to become a sacking club.
I am though concerned by the comments of Mr Moshiri, who would appear to have been brainwashed by Koeman into having a David Moyes moment with the following comment "Today was the only unexpected loss. The four pre-qualifying Uefa games and two group games on Thursday haven't helped.
I can only assume from this comment that we were expected to lose the games that we have and what is the point in aiming for European qualification if you are then going to complain about it!
If the negativity and lack of belief is starting at the top then we truly are in a sorry state.

While not agreeing with the words Moshiri used what else is he supposed to do? His backing of Koeman means nothing. A few more unexpected losses and the owner and board will have no option other than finding someone who can win games we are expected to win and maybe, heaven help us, win or draw those we are expected to lose.

I would fully expect Moshiri to back the manager. What I would not expect is for Mooshiri to infer by his comment that defeats to Chelsea, Spurs, Man U and Atalanta are to be expected. This type of negative comment in the media is not acceptable at Everton FC and only shows a perceived lack of ambition and only serves to take the club backwards. We should go into every game regardless of the opposition believing that we can win. ( Difficult I know under the current management! ) .

Koeman sounds like every manager out there at the top clubs. Jose does exactly the same, fergie done It, even managers like Zidane have had a go at players in public.

However, you can't do it all of the time and you need to also focus on the plus points more than the negatives.

He did do that aft÷r the game yesterday but I'm deaf at the moment and don't want to hear him talk at all. I'll have calmed down a bit after the international break.

I expected Moshri to give him the dreaded vote of confidence but loses at Brighton and Arsenal plus Chelsea will alter that .
Had it come about much later in the season but holding on to Prem status I would say go for a experienced man BUT if we look to change say at the beginning of Dec I would go internal all the time as they don't have time to assess and already know the club inside out and the strengths of all the players from youth onwards.
They also have blue blood a vital ingredient.
Who took over from Shankly!
That's the way to go.
