I know this has been a bad season so far. But we won't go down I just think there are worse teams than us in the league we will stay up. But I still see a very bright future for the club I know it's hard to believe when you watch that display yesterday yes the manager got it wrong completely wrong. But just look how far we have come over the years new stadium on the way investment it will all come good at some point. New management in the summer new players and I think we will have a good season next year try keep the heads up lads I know it's hard being an Evertonian at the moment but it's our club and our passion things will change for the better.

I think defensively we are the worst, i can't think of a team which concedes such bad goals constantly and make so many individual errors in games as our defenders do. It is every game its just embarrassing, Williams should be told to train with the under 18s and not be allowed to Goodison on matchday, his disinterest in Everton is evident and has no self respect to even get in shape to play.

Never thought I would ever here that there is worse teams than us koeman would be sacked again yesterday it's time to pay Sam off something he loves and move on and get ready for pre season with a manager everyone wants and gets behind.

Good post that Stef. I agree, get this season out of the way and start with a clean slate, a new manager and director of football, a fresh attitude from the players, a few left footed players in the squad and an approach that embraces the young talent we have at the club (while guided by the experienced players with quality like Walcott, Sigurdsson, Coleman, Rooney, etc) .

That will give them every opportunity to develop into top class players which (if they actually do develop that way) is the only way we will ever break into the top 6/ 7 in the long term. If it means we drop some points along the way but develop some real top quality players over a few years then so be it.

There are plenty of positive things at the club if you look at the long term however the right manager and director of football are vital if we are to fulfill the potential we have.

I also share your confidence that we won’t get relegated because while we are not that far away in points terms from the bottom 3 it is still a pretty significant “head start” on the plenty of teams below us. They can’t all suddenly find form and overtake us because they will all be taking points off each other.
