When Moshiri bought his 49.9% shareholding, did he have an agreement with Kenwright, Woods, etc., to buy more of their shares (taking him over 50%) within an agreed timeframe?
Did Moshiri agree to Kenwright remaining as Chairman (and other directors, executives and staff also remaining) for a set transitional period?
If so, is this the Summer when that timeframe (transitional period) ends?
If not, how can the club have any clarity, direction or leadership going forward?

Did Moshiri agree to Kenwright remaining as Chairman, yes.

Lee1616: it’s clear that BK wouldn’t have remained as chairman without FM’s agreement, BUT the question is if it was for a set transitional period?

Bills tenure runs out this August mate.

I don’t think he needs to buy anymore shares Bobby as he’s a majority shareholder without there being a possibility of anyone owning more than he currently has.

Toffee ace: he might have the LARGEST shareholding with 49.9%, but that’s surely not a MAJORITY if it’s not over 40%? Although I do accept that the current situation gives him de facto control of decision making at the club.

GuernseyBlue: so who becomes chairman after BK steps down? Moshiri isn’t even a director at the moment and Elstone will leave for the Rugby Super League. Just hope whoever is on the board, that they aren’t Allardyce supporters.

He is tge majority share holder as a certain amount of shares are unaccounted for so no one can buy more shares than he has even if they buy the remaining shares i think they would own something like 47% i may be wrong but am sure that's right.

Hi Bobby don't know who will become Chairman mate if Bill steps down, Usmanov maybe?

That’s exactly the case Johny. As there are missing shares that were lost in the Blitz and can’t be recovered as the shareholders have also passed it appears that 49.9 is by default a majority as no one can obtain more than what Farhad owns. So as long as he holds those shares he is in fact the majority shareholder.

Toffee ace: thanks to you and johny1989 for explaining the shareholding situation. I wonder who’ll eventually get BK’s and JW’s shares.
