From what Brands has said, we need to ship b4 we can buy, and we havnt mega millions to spend, so have we or havnt we, can agree we need to trim the squad, not nameing players, but is our budget relying on what leaves?

{Ed025's Note - its not really like that GH, we want to bring in new players and thats not a financial problem its about squad size as much as anything, some very average players are getting paid fortunes and thats what brands is trying to sort mate..

I think GH the big thing is wages as Brands says we need to trim the squad our wage bill at the moment with I think 38 players is way too big and any new players may ask for higher wages than we are paying now, let's trim the squad get some money in from the transfers and lighten the wage bill then see were we go from there. I'm sure once we see movement things will become more clearer and we will start to see a more streamlined squad. I'm just happy we have someone like Brands who knows what he is doing has a plan and sees a bigger picture and is also looking to the our future.

In all probability Mr Moshri is now getting sound advice from someone (s) , reflected in his choice and appointment of Mr Brands, Mr Silva (you know my opinion on this one but of course he is now our Head Coach so deserves my support) and their backroom staff. One thing is certain, the advice he (Mr Moshri) had off someone (s) in appointing Mr Walsh and Mr Koeman left the Club bloated with poor to average talent at best. This has immediately led to Mr Brands and Mr Silva with a vast amount of cleaning up/ clearing out to do before they can even begin to recruit for vital positions in the Squad. A few weeks I predict before we begin to see the shape of Mr Brands/ Mr Silva's new squad. COYB.

We've got a pretty decent squad already and it's just a few additions the are needed. It needs a clear out which is well documented.

After this summer it's a case of building on those foundations being laid.

I'm looking forward to the attacking players already at the club and how they play with a more attacking manager.
