On the news that Kroenke is trying to buy out Usmanov. I think Moshiri alone deserves credit for investments he's made, but - being greedy - two billionaires would be nice.

That yacht of his would look good sat in the Royal Blue Mersey.

It’s being reported that usmanov has agreed to sell to him, could be seeing that yaught sooner than we hoped 😀 we are all just assuming that he will be joining his pal at Everton but until it’s reported that he won’t be coming I’m happy to believe he is.

Financial Times saying usmanov has received 550 million for his shares and it's done.

smeghead So a man that was obsessed with getting control of Arsenal will be happy to come to Everton and take a minority share holding role. In this time of transition and apparent forward planning, do we really need a financial fight for control of Everton. I am happy with the way things are progressing and don't want any apples spilling.

DFS a
m not saying he is coming but if he did it would be as a partner to farhad surely? not as a power struggling rival, they are partners in many businesses.
As I say am not getting excited just yet but it would be nice wouldn't it haha.

{Ed025's Note - all this talk is very premature yet johny..

DFS you have to be the most pessimistic person on here 😂

Moshiri and Usmanov are friends and long time business associates, I'm sure that they would be able to work together should that situation arise, possibly with a 50/ 50 ownership.

{Ed025's Note - lets not get ahead of ourselves here tommy..

Blue Tommy - Not pessimism but realism. You really should take note of what these Eds try to impart, they are not Eds for nothing. You should also do a little bit more research into the two Business 'partners' quite enlightening. Personally I am very happy with Mr Moshri being in our Club, Mr Usmanov not so much. As I say that is just my personal opinion.

DFS Can I quote on the fact you are happy the way things are progressing?

That's good enough for me.

DFS my post was lighthearted so apologies if you've taken offence. I don't understand what you were saying about the Eds, I've never not listened to them.

I was only proposing a more optimistic scenario. Of course I realise that one person taking over a large amount of shares is a long and complicated enough negotiation, never mind two people going into business. I'm just noting that two people who have been long associated would be better placed to cooperate SHOULD the situation arise.

I too am pretty happy with Moshiri at the moment. I think he is learning from last years mistakes. And at this moment anything and everything regarding Usmanov is hypothetical. He could decide to leave football well alone now, he could even decide that he wants to buy that lot across the park for all we know!

I think one point to note for the people getting really excited about the idea of Usmanov is that he can't wave a magic wand as regards transfers (although the extra investment might help us stadium-wise) . We will have problems attracting top players until we start delivering on the pitch, which we all know will take a couple of years. That realistic enough? 😁.

BW2412 Of course you can quote me. I have never said not happy just voicing (typing) my opinion. We all have differing opinions and views on different subjects, and those individual views should be respected while at times disagreeing. Blue Tommy none taken and ditto mate.
