So just seen quite an impressive list of players that are out of contract this year, Di Maria, Robben, Khedira, Rabiot, Kompany, Ballotelli, Moussa Dembele, Fabregas, Godin, Hector Herrera, Felipe Luis, and Half the M. Utd team (how have they allowed so many contracts to expire at once, crazy! )

There are 3 in particular that I'd really love to see Everton move for but undoubtedly they will have a seriously good choice of clubs to choose from, Eduardo Salvio, Yacine Brahimi and Munir.

I don't believe we have a hope in hell of landing Brahimi or Salvio but an all out push for Munir could be achievable and really offer us the attacking threat we currently lack, and I'd even be tempted to try and get a cut price deal done in January if possible. I think Barcelona would cash in because he's not exactly a player who will impact their season by leaving.

Most likely player we'd get on a free though knowing my luck, Max Kruse : (.

Hey Worcester mate I wouldn't worry too much about who we get in the January transfer window, just look at what Marcel and Marco brought in the last window, they will have all bases covered I am sure.

Spot on GB. Let these guys do what they do best. Sometimes big names don’t always bring improvement.

Plus these are all/ mostly at the ends of their careers. We made this mistake when Koeman was manager. Letting the age of our squad increase to the point we had half kids and half old uns. None at the peaks of their careers. The new manager identified that and brough 5 in at the peaks of their careers or coming into the peaks. With quality too. It wasnt just that Williams and Martina were rubbish. it was also that Williams was signed and ended up being in the squad with Jags. Jags is 36 and Williams 34. This is the Premiership whereby any small weakness will be punished. Having 2 center backs as your main 2 at that age (ok it was last season) is crazy. To now go out and sign good players but at the end of their careers is just wrong in my opinion. In any position. I suspect Marco Silva thinks the same seeing the players he has brought in.

I think you guys are missing the point of my post completely.
I am not worried about who we sign, and i am not advocating signing players at the back end of their careers.
It was a list of some of the bigger names out of contract because i thought it was interesting. A talking point of how Utd have let so many contracts expire at once. Who out of those would excite at the club etc.
I suggested 3 players i would like us to move for but its all fantasy thoughts.
Some of you guys really do like to be negative about posts for no reason at all and without really looking at the context of what is written. That being said i shall once again resume my hiatus.

Don’t want you to be disappointed with the reply’s Worcester. I just thought GB had a good point also. I’m up for signing anyone who can improve us. I’m just confident in our recruitment team getting the right players. Nothing negative meant mate.

{Ed0333's Note - you seem to have a much better recruitment team now mate. You’ll be ok.

I'd still take Arjen Robben in a heartbeat (not that I could ever see it happening)
