I wonder what Chelsea fans are saying, they’re only 1 point ahead of us.
Trying to be optimistic, we have possibly Che Adams coming in, McNeil, Jack Harrison, Alli and our captain coming back.
Danjurman, Dobbin look good, and hopefully SD sees sense and puts Branthwaite in for Keane. Only 2 games in, plenty of time to get things moving in the right direction.

I admire your optimism GB mate but wishful thinking will get us nowhere. We have been lucky not to be relegated the last two seasons and basically nothing has changed so why expect anything different. We have another manager who seems devoid of ideas and refuses to change either his favorite players or his tactics when it is obvious that we will not win anything with this approach. Our defense is not good enough for a defensive strategy, our midfield is devoid of ideas and our only striker is made of cotton wool.
We have less than than two weeks to get a few decent players in, God knows who would want to join us. The Manager situation is even worse, if SD can't find answers in the next two games we are liable to have to go through the same old Manager merry go around that we have seen over the last five years or more which is far from ideal.

The Difference is GB when we play Chelsea and other teams with only 1 point they will put 4 past us.

DCL made of cotton wool is a bit harsh, unlucky with injuries maybe but playing on with what looks like a broken cheek bone would not put him in the made of cotton wool category in my opinion.
