Have to agree with DFS we get any injuries and we will be back in big trouble, we have a couple coming back with DCL, McNeil and now Harrison, we have had a good window regards getting incomings, Danjuma, Chemiti, Harrison and Young plus the outgoings but we are walking a tightrope, just hope we make it to Christmas and then we can strengthen again.

Has Gray gone or are Everton blocking.

Not sure matey can’t see anyway back for him now, think we should get what we can, JB gave a list of the free ones.

Even besides the fee, I don't think it's good policy to have someone in the dressing room who so clearly does not wish to be there, hostility, and bad blood, are not conducive to a good atmosphere.

Agree. Gray was a half decent signing especially given the fee. No love lost for me though. If he wants out then close the door behind you!

I do wonder if we will need to go again in January. I like the look of a sulemana at Southampton. I'd leave gnonto well alone (personally don't really rate him)

‘Back in big trouble’ GB? We are in big big trouble this season mate. As soon as we start selling our better players and then gaining 1 point in the first 4 games that we should be looking to get points out of. This season has disaster written all over it. I personally don’t see three teams worse than us in the league.

17. Burnley
18. Sheffield Utd
19. Everton
20. Luton

That’s not mentioning the big problems we have off the field also. There’s never been a worse time to support our beloved football club. I pray I’m wrong but I can’t see us escaping this season.

All fine margins Dog Puke, 1 point from 12 isn't the start we all expected but positive spin on it it could and should have been 9 if was more clinical and had the rub of the green.

Happy for Gray to go as clearly a bad egg and shows on pitch, what not happy about is him not going in the transfer window and us minimising the fee.

Said that I'd judge us after window closes, happy with outgoings and big positive is Beto who TBF the club did great business and surprised me we got.

It is what it is and we have a hopefully committed group now who can get us through l, injuries will dictate our fate this season, we get lucky we survive with ease we don't get lucky then we are bang in it.

Think we will beat Arsenal after international break as last year and be spring board to kick on, here's hoping anyway! ?.

I think we will be alright mate this international break will do us good we will have DCL and McNeil back and Harrison will be very close or ready as well, I think with the new additions in the Team plus our injured ones back we will star climbing the league, only my opinion buddy.

Agree GB. Just need get that win and with the players coming back we certainly carry more depth and threat up top now.

We are Better than the 3 promoted teams I feel.

We are in peril for our premier league lives. That’s no mistake. A worse start than in the previous two seasons that we narrowly escaped is all the red flags we need.

But strangely I feel more upbeat about the season ahead than I did the previous two seasons. Might be because of the signings. I think our best signing hasn’t started yet - Jack Harrison. Also Danjuma and Beto have made a difference.

It looks very bad right now. We can’t be naive. But I’m sticking with the hope that we are better positioned to improve than at least 4 teams in Luton, Sheffield UTD, Burnley and Wolves.

COYB.

For any statos out there. Can anyone tell me the last time we come back from an international break and played and won the first game? Also come back without a player injured on international duty?

We always look slow and lethargic after a break.
Arsenal at home is usually a guaranteed 3 pointer so let's hope the trend continues.
