Gary Neville is spot on. Clubs want to change ffp rules because a high percentage have realised they are very close to breaking the rules.

Yes, We have been the guinea pigs. It does make you wonder? There was a Barrister on the radio last week and he said that the Premier League had no sanctions in place for FFP. Apparently they have been referring to the EFL sanctions! He stated that no club can be sanctioned twice in the same season according to the EFL rules. He did say it will be very interesting to see if the Premier League stick to these rules. I suspect they will not!

One Eds response is it is a different period. Is it true though that the 'different period' includes 2 accounting seasons that featured in the last period. If that is true, surely our Club could be sanctioned twice in the same season.
