When will the 777 saga finally end? A process that allegedly takes around 12 weeks to sort yet here we are still waiting for this protracted takeover.
Reports today suggest that 777 want more time to raise the funds to complete the deal. If this is true then it doesn't bode well for the future. All saleable assets will be gone this summer rather than the one or two most fans had come to terms with. The fact that they need time to raise cash should surely be a massive red flag? I'm hoping that the Premier league do us a solid and pull the plug on this group.
I understand, and appreciate, that 777 have been keeping us afloat for a few months but I also doubt they were doing it out of the kindness of their heart, they obviously have other motives. This deal doesn't seem like it will move the club forward in the future. FM, as the Esk says, should put the club back on the market and let other interested parties, if they exist, to come forward with other proposals. We can dream anyway.

Selling and buying a business will take as long as it needs to take, forget all the media trash they won't have a clue what is going on. 777 will be undertaking due diligence around the sale and if they are happy with the outcome will propose to buy the club. That proposal will either be accepted by the owner or not. If not they will negotiate until they find a suitable outcome for all parties or the deal will not go through.

I get these things can take time, SA, but there have been plenty ty of red flags during this period. As ed025 said a while back, it's like out of the frying pan into the fire with 777. It's worrying that they need more time to generate the funds when there are, allegedly, one or two other groups with interest in us. If 777 get over the line then I can see it being ground hog day for the foreseeable. The time taken doesn't bode well imo mate.
