I've heard Moyes has a gentleman's aggrement to take over next season. Sensible choice imo get the cub back were we belong.

Alan Kevin

1.) 23 Apr 2016 12:28:01
Well if that's true I for one will no longer be paying to watch everton.

2.) 23 Apr 2016 12:45:50
I hope the rumour is true bring home the king I will march with Moyes.

3.) 23 Apr 2016 13:49:27
From what I can gather, Moyes was solid but not spectacular. He had a solid defense, and I think he can carry a Plan B into a match.

You know what you are getting, and he would have one thing this time around that he had little of before: money.

And an owner committed to a new stadium or a massive renovation of Goodision Park.

I cannot blame a man for taking a dream job at Man-U, and yes I recall the frustration of his leaving. But Moyes did break the cardinal rule of never following a legend in Sir Alex.

If its Moyes, well then onwards and upwards, and no spending 13 million for a benchwarmer.

4.) 23 Apr 2016 14:20:06
Well put new blue and welcome.

5.) 23 Apr 2016 14:33:01
We don't need or want 'sensible '!

We need inspiring. wonderful. fantastic. brilliant

We need a game changer.

We have an opportunity to revolutionise now. Let's not waste that.

6.) 23 Apr 2016 17:35:41
Ah right SkyLark you will pay to watch this one but not to watch Moyes, one has taken us from 5th (while our defence was still in tact and playing the Moyes way) to 11th and probably the same this season, while the other kept us in regular top 8. Oh and progress under Martinez has meant that Everton now have the worse home record in their 138 year history.

7.) 23 Apr 2016 19:28:59
I'll take Moyes, I know a lot of you wouldn't but he fits our club. IMWT remember that?

8.) 23 Apr 2016 20:07:37
You all forget how moyes treated the club?
Don't blame him for taking the Utd job but respect for the club, fans and chairman who made him a multi millionaire . He should of told Utd he'll take job at end of the season and to keep it under wraps till then. Sod Utd shares!
Then fallini and Baines saga. Plus his lies about only finding out that the Utd job was his 2 days before taking it! Ferguson tapped him up months before and that why he didn't sign new contract!
If He'd signed Everton contract the club would of got a nice package and Utd still would of signed him whatever!
He was the 3rd highest paid prem manager and won jack!
Couldnt win at anfield in 11 years!
Grateful for his services but he's had his chance.
Let's go forward and not backwards!
1878.

9.) 23 Apr 2016 20:14:53
Steverton imwt went out the window when he tried to screw the club thinking he could save man Utd by waiting and thinking we would sell Felanini for 18m instead of the buying clause of 23m. It backfired as the club held out and then in desperation utd had to pay 28m for him (which imo way way too much anyway) . It was that sneakiness that really showed his lack of respect for our great club. So on that point bugger off up to Glasgow notes and penny pinch in the Scottish league with Celtic. Next manager for me is Koeman or billic.

10.) 23 Apr 2016 20:19:04
Never go back, tried it with Kendall.

11.) 23 Apr 2016 20:46:47
I can't believe i'm reading this IMWT crap, we should be aiming higher than dithery dave, i'd go with a manager like de boer someone to bring the kids through and build the club over the next few years to where we should be.

12.) 23 Apr 2016 21:51:54
Some managers are the perfect fit for some clubs and some do not work (DM at united) also don't think he was given the time he needed. We could do a lot worse than DM at this current time and don't forget blues he had us playing competitive footie 95% of the time always around the top six a tight defense best in the league stats wise. I think it would be a good move personally.

13.) 24 Apr 2016 11:06:36
You all point to Martinez and his conceding record, what you don't mention that we have scored more goals under him, which means we are playing more exciting football which I would much rather see.

06 Aug 2015 08:07:10
Is Pato coming ed?

Alan Kevin

{Ed025's Note - the last i heard was that sunderland were in talks alan, nothing on him to us mate..

04 Aug 2015 09:04:00
OK ed travelled to Merseyside over the weekend and a bit of chat round the pubs. lot of people saying the board don't trust RM with money regarding transfers. Do you think if we had appointed a new man in charge he would of been given money to spend? or is it that were total skint so it does not matter who is in charge. Not impressed with pre season form there's a lot of doom and gloom about. Fancy 2-0 to us at the weekend.

Alan Kevin

{Ed025's Note - i dont believe its about trusting the manager alan, its about not putting the club in a position where it is not viable for someone to want to buy it, they wont go into the red like most team are due to inflated wages, transfers and agents fees etc mate..

1.) 04 Aug 2015 19:59:26
But I know for a fact having ties to a board member and through actual conversations that there is no desire to sell.

{Ed025's Note - maybe not at the moment svenny, but if we were in debt as well as having a dilapidated stadium nobody would touch us with a barge pole mate..

2.) 04 Aug 2015 21:47:21
Nobody'll touch us with a barge pole anyway. There's been enough clubs bought to see we're not going to be one of them.

3.) 04 Aug 2015 22:50:41
Svenny, I don't know who your source is but I, for one, don't believe him. The club' been up for sale for years and still no takers. We have to face the fact that we aren't an attractive proposition at the moment. Maybe when we're debt free for a while and making regular profits that will change, but until then we're on our own.

4.) 05 Aug 2015 09:43:05
Its clear to see kenwright doesn't want to sell. I have heard on number ocassions that when someone is intrested he asks them for 50 mil straight up to see books.

5.) 05 Aug 2015 10:27:31
BK doesn't want to sell he wants investors! Because he is an Everton Fan in charge of his team! Its like a toy for him! If it was a proper die hard everton fan you would tell the board to put some money in the squad and actually try and build on a good team! but no just talk utter rubbish about putting in a bid for players after they sign for another club for £4m less than they signed for that club for .Same old rubbish every season and we get fooled into it every season!

6.) 05 Aug 2015 19:45:12
Ed025, didn't both Kenwright & Elstone tell the Kirkby inqury that the club WASN'T for sale?

{Ed025's Note - i believe they did mate but things can change very quickly in football as we all know..

7.) 06 Aug 2015 14:52:43
Bill Kenwright has always maintained that the club is up for sale.Evertonians really do have to wake up and smell the coffee.Nobody wants us. We are not a viable or attractive proposition. We need a new ground to bring in much needed revenue, but we need a trading partner to do it.
That's the first hurdle. The second is to optimise the use of the stadium to make maximum profit and then, just maybe we'll be in an approachable position for prospective buyers.

26 Jun 2015 10:46:11
Ed just heard last night by a red he's a good mate and usually pretty spot on. Liverpool are loaning us Markovic, they don't want to sell but want him to get more game time. He will replace AM. Expect this to break in next few days.

Alan Kevin

1.) 26 Jun 2015 12:55:17
Now I know (hope) you're joking. Not only is he quite bad (terrible) and we don't need him but why would they (Liverpool) loan us a player and why is it taking a few days to break?. But if you are joking (please be) then well done.

{Ed030's Note - He is not terrible mate, just played out of position by Rodgers. Even so, I highly doubt he will be joining Everton. }

2.) 26 Jun 2015 13:04:12
personally WGAF. this is a blue page

3.) 26 Jun 2015 13:05:46
to my 1st response rather have AM than giv a red game time

4.) 26 Jun 2015 13:51:38
If he's not good enough for them , think we'd look stupid taking a chance

5.) 26 Jun 2015 14:19:16
More chance of signing Messi.

18 Jun 2015 13:11:06
Hi Ed25 hope alls well. Do we have to sell to buy this season? How much have we to spend? There was a money league posted a few weeks ago had us in top 20 in world.

Alan Kevin

{Ed025's Note - we have money to spend alan, how much i dont know mate..

What makes me laugh on this site is our supporters don't want Benitez even though he has 4 European trophies.3 more than our whole club but because he managed the dark side we don't want to know. But want de Boer because he won titles in Holland jesus Christ Martinez would win those there. Get that de bore and it will all end in tears again. Stay clear.

Alan Kevin

1.) 17 May 2016 08:13:57
I want Koeman ahead of De Boer but can tell you this Al, I don't want Rafa, I could probably in my heart forgive Moyes for the sneaky way he done things but Rafa not only managed them, he also took the piss out of us, he won't be coming here mate, no way will Bill/ Moshiri sanction that as they know how most of the fans feel, poll results below, the "none of the above" will be Rafa, minority mate, deep breath Al, let it go now mate, he ain't coming

Mourinho (41%, 55 votes)
Koeman (13%, 17 votes)
Moyes (3%, 4 votes)
Frank de Boer (36%, 48 votes)
Pellegrini (6%, 8 votes)
None of the above (1%, 2 votes)

2.) 17 May 2016 08:17:45
''Everton are a massive club with a lot of history, and it is hard to see the Toffees make an approach for Benitez. ''

'Richard Keys'

I liked that, Oh yeah!

3.) 17 May 2016 09:15:01
Why does everyone think De Boer will be a bad choice because he has won 4 Dutch titles in 6 years. It's the man managing the team, not the league. Apart from a short spell at Valencia, koeman was Ajax manager and everyone wants him. If De Boer is appointed, he will get my full support.

4.) 17 May 2016 09:43:13
Did pretty poorly at Valencia too, Dentie. Mourinho for me, not that he'd definitely come if asked, then De Boer. Whole thing about him managing in an average league baffles me; what do people expect, for his first job to be Barcelona?

5.) 17 May 2016 09:45:32
Id have either Dentie but prefer Koeman for what he has done at the Saints, we were all raving about DeBoer not long ago then some crap comes in the press about Mourinho and Benitez and all of a sudden some fans think DeBoer isn't good enough anymore, its a funny old game, any one of Koeman or DeBoer and i'm over the friggin moon.

6.) 17 May 2016 09:46:19
I have a feeling our manager will either be De Boer or Pellegrini.

Mourinho seems unlikely (he's the managerial equivalent of Yarmelenko for us at the moment) .

7.) 17 May 2016 11:17:22
Couldn't agree more Murf1000. Every word of your above post I agree with totally.

8.) 17 May 2016 11:38:19
C Toffee. Excellent point that and made me chuckle too. It's going to be difficult to know if De Boer will be what we need in the long run because of the league he's had success in. But to be fair the Prem is completely different from most other leagues especially after this campaign.

RK is a safe bet because of the job he's done with the saints but I think he will stay there so it's De Boer for me as the most likely candidate. And I think he will do well.

9.) 17 May 2016 14:15:19
I think Mancini could be a dark horse. We will not get Mourinho and I doubt Pellegrini but Foeman or De Boer would be good. I definitely do not want Moyes or Hughes and would have Rafa instead of them.

15 May 2016 12:21:55
Is Niasse in the squad today?

Alan Kevin

07 May 2016 19:41:52

05 May 2016 19:05:03
Any news on a new stadium?

Alan Kevin

{Ed002's Note - No.}

1.) 05 May 2016 19:38:50
Aw, this site instantly makes me laugh out loud at times. I love it. No offence to anyone in this comment.

2.) 05 May 2016 20:13:05
Any news on a new manager :)

{Ed025's Note - no news is good news they say frank..so good news.. :)

3.) 05 May 2016 20:28:00
Any news on why there's no news?

{Ed025's Note - because nothing has been decided yet gray, the club will want to do things in the right manner and we will be informed when the time is right mate..

4.) 06 May 2016 05:17:13
I know ed I was taking the Michael. Its the same questions daily, you eds need the patience of a saint.

{Ed025's Note - your right there gray, ED002 has just submitted a dossier of targets for the coming season which has obviously taken him a great amount of time and effort on his part, but you can bet your bottom dollar someone will ask if we are in for anyone this summer today.. :)

5.) 06 May 2016 09:59:34
Tbf ed002 gets some grief on here but he is always informative. He answers ridiculous questions with the response they require which tends to be sarcastic or blunt. When he is asked a genuine question he is top drawer with a knowledgeable answer.

26 Apr 2016 17:49:00
Said it before Everton should of went for Milner the goals he creates is plenty, love his attitude too.

Alan Kevin

1.) 26 Apr 2016 19:18:27
Just a 150k stummbling block.

{Ed025's Note - and thats each week mike...should be per year for me..

2.) 26 Apr 2016 19:21:21
Where did that come from? You crazy guy!

3.) 26 Apr 2016 19:23:59

Yuck no thanks!

5.) 26 Apr 2016 20:08:29
same here no way hozay he ain't that good.

6.) 27 Apr 2016 01:55:03
Out of all players who can create goals, you had to go for a over rated,150k P/w red as our saviour.I give up

Going downhill from Stones to an average player like Williams. Hope we having second thoughts about Bolasie this has panic written all over it. Was proven yesterday that we have to sell to buy and Bill is still the General.

Hope this is not true. and how come it's Bill Kenwright who gets all the stick I can name a few other hangers on at the club. Probably the blue union again making themselves looking stupid again. let's concentrate on the football 2-0 Everton today with Rom getting both.

Are we so desperate we will sign anyone. Inter can't wait to get shot of him he's lazy. The only way players are coming in is if Stones or Macca goes. Don't think anyone realizes how much Everton are in the red. If you ain't got it you can't spend it.

Coleman has lost it big time. Can't jump, can't cross and can't defend. Ship him out January and a few others.
