I'm seeing a move is close for Lukaku to Roma. Mino Raiola trying to finalise details. football italia covering the story too.what you think ed?

Amo365

1.) 25 Jun 2015 12:31:25
If they can up with 35 mill for him I say let him go we could get two quality strikers for that so I wouldn't worry too much.

2.) 25 Jun 2015 12:48:14
let him go as long as we get the money back I don't care all he wants to do is moan anyway

3.) 25 Jun 2015 12:49:19
might also be the players we are linked with that might want to make him move

4.) 25 Jun 2015 13:23:41
Don't think Kenwright would let him leave for less than £38/40M + Riola's fee which will probably be another £6M or so. Not sure if Roma could afford it? But that Riola is bad news for sure

5.) 25 Jun 2015 13:40:56
I've seen mixed reports on this one. Apparently they want either rom or benteke but have been put of by the asking price. It was reported we want €45m for Lukaku.

6.) 25 Jun 2015 16:26:43
roma don't have the money to buy rom plain and simple fact all they can do is offer 20 or max 25 million then add a few players that are over the hill or can't even make there bench and expect us to except it I have said before r asking price should be 40 million and not a penny less. I can see utd coming in for him though with a cheeky bid of about 20 mil and hernandez as part exchange or Wilson on loan for season what u think ed

7.) 25 Jun 2015 17:33:42
Lukaku is going nowhere, and neither should he. We've got ourselves a top top striker with a better record than any of the top strikers in the world today pre 22nd birthday. We shouldn't even be talking about letting him go and should be peaved with any lazy journalist trying to sell him for us.
We, as a club, don't have to sell to buy, so to buy a striker in this window would be buying a partner for Romolu or a bench warmer and hopefully saying by-by to Kone, who couldn't score in a barrel of fannies.

24 May 2015 10:27:22
hi ed why am I seeing that Tyler Blackett is join Everton on loan with a view to a permanent move? not really keen on that to be honest. any views?

Amo365

{Ed025's Note - its only if the evans deal falls through amo, ..can this get any bloody worse?..get that fraud out!..

1.) 24 May 2015 13:53:51
Please tell me this is a joke, johny evans is terrible, blacketts not much bloody better.

{Ed025's Note - i know mate, is there no end to this mans quest to send us into the championship?..

2.) 24 May 2015 16:59:02
That is it now end of season, sorry for Bills troubles but he surely has to see now that last season was a blip a good one but a blip. If he sticks with RM, he will never be forgiven. Swallow pride pay the compensation and get someone in with a winning mentality.

3.) 24 May 2015 19:16:16
How about giving Martinez wot he deserves and that's ten twelve games into next season if we do lose Martinez who would you like in early days for the big dunc would love to see him given a chance to boss the club he loves

4.) 25 May 2015 22:42:08
I bet every single one of you thought Martinez was the best thing since sliced bread as recently as 2014. He deserves a summer and a new season without the constraints of the Europa League to turn things round, if he doesn't have funds to buy good players, it's not him the fans should criticise.

5.) 26 May 2015 08:02:21
AJ:

''I bet every single one of you ''

You would lose that bet mate!

The sceptics never went the whole hog and fell head over heels in love with RM ,

Don't forget he's got form in terms of being a pig headed loser,

so as soon as the pattern changed from winning to losing matches it was only natural the fans reaction turned to all out criticism!

We had seen his stupidity before, however what has been a revelation to me is his obstinate bullsh*t pm assessments I mean omg wtf does he take us for!?

6.) 29 May 2015 18:12:38
Very fickle some of you.highest points tally last season.it was that mickey mouse euro comp that proved a waste of time.look at the fate of all premier teams that have strugled in prem whilst playing that useless comp

7.) 29 May 2015 20:02:29
Well said smuffy least we can do is give Martinez till Christmas I believe he will come good if not then yes change

17 May 2015 22:25:25
I'm hearing Del boy is on his way back to us. personally I think this is a good thing. anyone else? ed what do you think?

Amo365

{Ed025's Note - it would be great if he did amo, but although there have been noises about it nothing has been confirmed mate..

1.) 18 May 2015 15:16:22
Already voiced my opinion on the matter in the past and to say I'm against it is an understatement haha

2.) 19 May 2015 13:26:43
Always nice to have a player in the side who gets you on the edge of your seat and drives you mad at the same time. The kid has got a lot of talent.

3.) 22 May 2015 00:53:01
He only got me on the edge of my seat when I was about to stand up and shout at him. Absolutely useless. Guillem Balague recently picked him as La Liga's flop of the season as well, so it's not like he's improved, and apparently Barca want rid because not only do they not rate him, but both Enrique (barca manager) and Unai Emery (Sevilla manager) say he has attitude issues. Would be the worst signing of Martinez's career if we get him permanently, and that's saying A LOT.

4.) 22 May 2015 12:01:02
ab you said naismith is worst payer you have ever seen, so yeah. also, that goal vs arsenal? when it went in were you sat there annoyed he didn't square it?. also, luka modric was voted flop of the season about 2 years ago, I presume you would have him?. he didn't have an attitude problem here, enrique doesn't rate alex song, montoya or christian tello either, it happens. fergie didn't rate pogba, wenger clearly didn't rate ribery, ibrahimovic, toure or ronaldo either (lol). I look at what he did at everton and i'd take him in a flash, he was doing really well until his hamstring went and we missed him. he is 1000x better than atsu so I don't think he can be martinez's worst signing.

5.) 23 May 2015 15:55:37
Would love to have him back his defensive play prob not the best but he would be another great young talent to add to the team hope it's true

6.) 24 May 2015 18:18:20
I did, Swan, and I stand by my word that at that time, he well and truly was, but he's turned it round through pure work ethic and determination. Something you will not see from Gerry. Yeah, he scored a good goal agaisnt Arsenal, but what about the 10+ he cost us by shooting when he shouldn't. Barkley shoots every time he gets a chance which you seem to hate, despite him scoring against QPR, City and Norwich with screamers.

Modric was the flop because he cost a fortune and was barely played. Granted, he wasn't brilliant when he did play, but he turned it around when he got a good run going and his true class showed through. Deulofeu has played plenty and is still terrible.

And he may not have had a blatant attitude problem, but there was still plenty of people on here complaining about his non-existant work rate and selfishness.

Song has very well known attitude problems and didn't suit Barca's style, Tello simply has too much competition and Montoya is extremely average. Ferguson did rate Pogba, just wouldn't cave to a teenager demandning first team football. And Wenger did rate Ribery, Toure, Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo, which is why he tried to trial every single one of them, it's just because he is so indecisive that he lost them all.

There's clearly no point arguing it any more because it's clear everyone has selective amnesia, so if we want to buy him again I'll just sit back and watch all you turn on him again when you realise how useless he is. And being better than Atsu is no achievment.

7.) 25 May 2015 01:00:16
Modric played 33 games in his first season. Deulofeu did try too much, but he didn't shoot from 60 yards And give away a throw in at the same time. What screamer did barkley score vs qpr?. Must of missed that one. Also worth noting doofy loofy didn't make a prem start til early december I believe. At the age of 21 and looking like a fringe player so i'm guessing he would cost between 6 and 8m if stories are to be believed. i'd call it a bargain and win-win.

8.) 26 May 2015 02:04:32
A fair amount of which were as a substitute, considering his competition was Khedira and Alonso. Something Barkley has never done. And the one this season where he got it on the half way line, drove forward and scored from 25 yards out with his weak foot?

He didn't start till that late for a reason. Considering his completely unworthy reputation, I imagine he'll cost about £15m because a team with no genuine scouting system *cough* Liverpool *cough* will be willing to pay it for him.

9.) 26 May 2015 11:51:35
So modric has an excuse for competition but not deulofeu. Oh you mean the deflected goal vs qpr? Sorry forgot about that. We will have to agree to disagree mate.

10.) 30 May 2015 02:03:37
It was only a minor defelection and was likely still going in. Still a superb goal. I think that's the only solution, I just hope time doesn't tell.

19 Mar 2015 11:08:59
So Rom linked with Wolfsburg. what do we thing people? Ed what's your views on this? I know where I would play it but what's everyone else's view?

Amo365

{Ed025's Note - i want to keep him for now amo..

1.) 19 Mar 2015 20:03:51
In my humble (and uninformed!) opinion, it'd take a massive bid that gives us a decent profit over what we paid PLUS the player asking to leave for RM to consider transferring Lukaku.

2.) 20 Mar 2015 10:46:47
He should go now, but he will stay, because KenWrong and crew will not spend any money on a new manager, WTF, it was embarrassing m8s.

25 Feb 2015 10:15:56
Oviedo Linked with Real Sociadad . what do you think Ed?

Amo365

{Ed025's Note - i hope not amo, he is a valuable member of the squad..

1.) 26 Feb 2015 12:10:20
I like Oviedo I just hope he can be used in a more attacking role so as to not prevent the progression on Garbutt, I think Garbutt is very important for the future and may be tempted to move on if his chance of game time is limited and considering the likelihood is we won't be in Europe next year there will be less games as it is

2.) 26 Feb 2015 20:37:23
good evening ed just watching the young boys game and although lukaku is scoring goals at the moment. steven naismith is the player that I am most impressed with as I have been all season is it to early a shout to vote him as everton's player of the year or is it all just about goals. I think you will struggle to find an epl player who does as much running about and hard work as he does. also if you were a chairman where would you value him at it would be interesting to know your thought's. 20 million or so.

{Ed025's Note - i love the guy james, his tenacity and work rate are second to none, hes one of my favourite players, but his value would be about £5m mate, but hes worth more than that to us i believe..

I see we are doing well. missed out on Wijnaldum, ogbonna and astori and probably shaqiri. anyone else we going to go in for and miss out on?

Amo365

1.) 09 Jul 2015 13:25:12
Are you 100% sure we was even in for them in the first place?

2.) 09 Jul 2015 13:26:54
What are you on about lad, who has actually stated that we went in for any of those, there has been no official word from the club naming any player we are after, let's just see what is actually going to happen instead of guessing then spouting crap

3.) 09 Jul 2015 13:37:13
dann hopefully and astori by look of things

4.) 09 Jul 2015 13:50:41
who says we were in for them?

5.) 09 Jul 2015 14:02:30
That's our new name, Everton to miss out on . to any second rate no mark club you care to name. Our directors could not direct traffic.

6.) 09 Jul 2015 15:16:49
Agents job is to get as much money for his mercenary as possible. How does he do that, well perhaps he drops a line to the press. Stating a list of clubs who are "interested" in his man. The selling club want as much money as possible for their mercenary. How do they do that, they do exactly the same as the agent. Therefore the buying club end up paying more for the mercenary to the selling, the agent and the mercenary. That is how it is.

11 Feb 2015 23:03:10
getting to the point now where barkley has gone. He wants to take on the world on his own and as soon as he loses it (which seems to be most of the time) his body language says it all. We rate him @£50mil I would sell him for half that.on the bright side Howard played well and always seems too after a spell on the side lines.

Amo365

1.) 12 Feb 2015 01:05:15
Yes let's sell our best young players and keep all the old boys. Jesus the only creative player we ave and you want to get rid? I have and always will love this club, but some of our supporters need a reality check.

2.) 12 Feb 2015 07:41:21
Well this season his contribution as been nothing like what it was last season. yes he is young and I'm not doubting his talent but where has the barkley of last season gone? He doesn't look half the player. A reality check? I live in the canary islands and still go to 10+ games a season a 4000 mile trip to watch us perform. so no one can doubt my love for the team. I just have my view from what I see and you have yours

3.) 12 Feb 2015 08:36:45
Besic and Stones aside none of them are playing at the level they were last season. So to pick on one of the junior players is poor. Get off the bandwagon and have an original opinion.

02 Feb 2015 17:29:31
Well after my post about Tim cahill the other day. looks like he's a free agent. I'd have him back like a shot. anyone with me? even if it's only for 6 or 12 months

Amo365

1.) Yeh in a heartbeat still has goals in him and if it were to happen think it would be a moral boost for players and fans which right now is what we need.

2.) And for him to come off the bench on saturday and get the winner. if only)))

31 Jan 2015 14:33:06
watching Tim cahill playing and I'd have him back now. that man has passion and drive and would be a bloody good kick up the arse for half the slackers we have.

Amo365

28 Jan 2015 17:18:45
pato. good or bad move?

Amo365

{Ed025's Note - i would say good Amo..

1.) 28 Jan 2015 19:03:08
Bad

{Ed025's Note - how did i know that was coming?.... :)

2.) Apparently on big money, Corinthians want to sell has not been good in Brazil, if we were to take a punt I think loan first with option to buy.

{Ed025's Note - loans are right up our street wakka...we should be sponsored by wonga mate.. :)

3.) Very apt Ed025 unfortunately the big boys will spend big to keep moving forward, sustaining Champ League status and earning big! Lukaku aside we are afraid to spend 15m plus and aren't even trading water we are slowly sinking and there seems to be nothing but hot air and BS coming out of the club!

{Ed025's Note - same old story then wakka..
