I'm on the fence with Gordon. He's got great potential and if he stays great. If somebody comes up with an offer to good to refuse and that money is used to strengthen us tho surely that's even better.
Have we got anybody in house that can step up if he's sold? Stanley Mills benefit perhaps. Granted I haven't seen much of mills but from what I have seen he seems a ready made replacement. Leaving any money from Gordon to be used on a striker or 2 and maybe another midfielder.

Mills looks like a quick, tricky winger/ wing-back. Looked good on pre season.

It's a shame it didn't work out with brands. Yes our recruitment has been poor but I don't lay the blame at brands door. I think it's more down to moshiri and his advisors outranking him. Brands and Lampard given time without interference from the board could have been ideal. Lampards known for giving youth a chance whilst brands allowed to do what he's good at finding the next gem. I just hope who ever ends up manager keeps us in the prem and is allowed time to build a team worthy of playing in the new stadium.

I'm glad benitez has gone but we can't afford to keep sacking managers. The next manager has to be in for the long haul. By that I mean they have to be given time to build ready for the new stadium. Fonseca or Potter would be my choices but if the right manager (whoever that is) isn't available then it's time for Dunc to step up until the end of the season or longer if he's successful.

Leeds in a much better place than Everton, it would seem (to the casual observer) . Why would Bielsa leave? Everton need to have a plan, and go all out to get their man, as they did 18 months ago. I’d hope it’s either Rafa or Nuno.

Here goes. i'm going to play football manager.
People are saying our squad is poor, i don't think its that bad. 5 new players and we would be a very good team. So 5 players i'd love to sign would be.
Rashford or dembele.
Lozano and carvhalho
Tierney and a CB i'd be happy with gibson but there probably better optuons out there.
The hard part is making room for new additions. These would be on my list to try and sell.

Think everyone starts afresh, but Silva will have done his homework on the squad.
Largely agree with your exit list Anom apart from Jags. As it stands imo he is still the best defender at the club.
Nice to read from some positive Blues for a change. Looking forward to some much better football next season.

I agree I wouldn't want to lose Jags but do think Coleman would be a better captain
I would add Martial and Depay to forward targets and Lascelles in the defence, the lad is a leader and we could do with more.

Good deal for us that. 1 less distraction around the place. Good profit and his wages off the books. Besides I can't see where he would play. He was never starting before danjuma mcneil or Harrison plus dobbin is in and around the squad.
I know the squad is a couple of injuries away from a crisis but surely financially we're in a much better place than we were.

Wether we want 777 as our new owners or not is irrelevant really. What we need to do as supporters is give them time to attempt to correct all the wrongs. It's about time we try and drop all the toxic/ negativity which is playing a part in our demise.

The thing Is if people want this regime out then that's fine but we can't then really moan who they sell too.
