heard that koeman never promoted any youth players at the saints.
can that be right given there academy and the youth they have produced in the past couple of years.

You will be unlikely to see any youth players brought through as he will favour bringing in players who are either Dutch or from the Dutch league, the only player he brought through from the saints academy was Matt Targett who if he hadn't been injured a couple of years back wouldve been picked over shaw as he was the better full back.

Koeman wasn't my No.1 choice and having the youth thing confirmed only strengthens that for me. Hate to see much of our youth go to rot.

Personally I hate seeing so many foreign players in starting line ups of premier league teams especially when give the time we could develop our own talent like your own Ross Barkley! In my opinion Poch was the better manager, as in better style of play and brought youth through, so I'm not too concerned as long as we get a decent replacement. Not taking away from the fact he's been a fantastic manager for us and will do a good job at bringing you back to the standard an Everton side should be.

1.) I just hope he goes, Liverpool will be crap without him, he made their season last term, let's hope he goes as I don't think Brenda is smart enough to get a replace for him
2.) He's banned from ALL football for 4 months, which means he couldn't play or train for anyone, regardless if he moves. This will hugely reduce his desirability, but won't lower Liverpool's asking price, so, annoyingly, he will almost certainly stay. Liverpool have (in a small way) benefited from this.
3.) Not really AB just means they will be paying him until he moves in January not really much of a benefit.

does anyone know if Martinez is of to the US in the summer, he works for espn over there commentating on the world cup.
if he is going we won't be signing anyone until after the tournament
1.) He also has his scouts and backroom staff who can sort things out. If we do get deals done during the WC, its most likely that we are signing none WC players.

Williams at 10 mil is to much money for an average player who is at 31/ 32 only has 2-3 years at best
Richards is 28 and more than has a point to prove, I feel koeman could get the very best out of him, and would cost us a lot less than 10 mil.

we don't need to buy any younger players as we have a great system in place and could field 2 teams of under 23 year olds
we need a class GK,
after last season someone to command our defence,
a cultured midfielder
