No VVD in Celtic squad today!

Baz29

So, if Stones is "rested" for the midweek League Cup match against Barnsley, does that mean he's leaving? Besides, there are other Premier League clubs supposedly interested in VVD. Anyway, VVD might be being kept back for Celtic's crucial second-leg against Malmo in midweek.

2.) 22 Aug 2015 12:35:55
Ah for God's sake lads is it not obvious by now John Stones is going nowhere??
How many times in how many different ways does Martinez have to say it?????

3.) 22 Aug 2015 13:36:37
I am with u on this one , lukaku is even tellin him not to go

4.) 22 Aug 2015 18:17:05
The last reply I saw ended with "if another party comes in we will evaluate it". On the one hand RM has said it is too late to replace him, yet on the other he suggests he won't be sold to Chelsea. but other clubs may be entertained.

I wonder out of our average 38,000 attendance what percentage want the fraud from abroad gone?

Baz29

{Ed025's Note - im guessing 75% baz..

1.) 01 Mar 2015 20:01:35
bit generouss there Ed

try 98%

{Ed025's Note - it was only a guess murf....probably a bad one mate..

Imminent, Captain Robert Hatch to be signed as our new GK
I very much doubt there will be any escape to victory if Martinez doesn't pull his finger out in the next couple of hours!!

Just heard UTD have just signed a massive new 5 year contract with www.revolvingdoorcompany.co.uk
Good times ;)

Baz29

1.) Haha love it baz

Ed how long has Jags got left on his contract?
With Vidic/Rio leaving the mancs it's prob only a matter of time before there yet again after our best players

Baz29

{Ed002's Note - More than three years and I am not aware of any interest.}

1.) Can't see them going for a player who's over 30 like Jagielka. I can see them sniffing around a younger player like Stones.

2.) I think we are all getting a little bit paranoid. If he wanted all our players he would have stayed, besides with the money he has at his disposal his horizon stretches further than Goodison.RickTee

I am firmly in the camp of "Sack Martinez" and have been since the away defeat against Newcastle 2014 so it's unlikely even FA Cup success is going to change my opinion on the man.

Given that Martinez gets shown the door, here's a question with a few if's involved;

If Manchester United stick with LVG
If Real Madrid stick with ZZ
If PSG stick with LB

If all that were the case then the options open for Jose Mourinho are seemingly becoming less and less, would it really be an unrealistic shout the get him at Everton?
I'm not one of these dreamers but the man is out of a job and wants to get back in the Prem and we now have the investment that could match his expectations, I'd much prefer to let Jose spend £100m - £150m over Martinez which is the supposed war chest for the summer.

Jose would be an immense coup if he joined but would we really pay him the kind of wages he would command. I agree that even winning the cup shouldn't save RM. I'd rather see that as leaving on a high. I can't just forget how clueless week in week out he is.

{Ed025's Note - forget about that sort of money as a war chest baz its not going to be anywhere near that , im not jose,s biggest fan i have to say but if ever he wanted a project then we certainly fit the bill, to be honest the way i feel about bobby anyone would do me mate..

1.) 06 Apr 2016 16:41:26
Cheers ed I think most are of the same opinion.

{Ed025's Note - no probs baz..

2.) 06 Apr 2016 17:23:37
I think if we could keep all of our players (unlikely I know) and bought a good left winger and a new gk then literally any half decent manager could do a good job with us.

3.) 06 Apr 2016 20:20:47
RM could fritter those figures easily. Donr worryabout that!

Hopefully we now get a deflated chelsea side minus costa on saturday.

My bet is that he will go in the same manner as Rodgers following the derby.

Just watched our neighbours dig out a result coming from behind away from home with 10 men, Martinez that is how its done, forget studying Barcelona and how they play, you might learn a thing or two off Klopp.

Baz29

1.) 06 Mar 2016 16:10:38
we don't need to learn anything off that lot,the day we need them to teach us anything is the day I give up on football alltogether.

2.) 06 Mar 2016 16:17:09
You must be happy for us to carry on as we are then toffeepaul, sometimes you have to wake up and smell the coffee.

3.) 06 Mar 2016 16:48:20
Well they didn't give up did they ToffeePaul. 10 points behind 6th 6 points behind 7th Liverpool by the way (our average position prior to Martinez) . This guy just will not get it, he did not accept responsibility for taking Wigan down. I am convinced that in the back of his mind he is happy with middle of the table football and to him that is success. Yes if we had scored the third goal we would have won (as Bilic indicated) but that is just masking over the problems. I have read up on Mr Moshiri and he is no mug, RM's days are numbered.

4.) 06 Mar 2016 17:27:51
i could not give a rats arse I seen the game and I know wot they done but I am telling you I don't look at them lot and say we could learn off them NOT EVER. ye right about moshiri he is no mug and I really do hope robbies days are numberd.

5.) 06 Mar 2016 19:56:15
Duncsmum, every post you post is identical to mine lad, well done, you (like I) won't accept this cr#p.

Your missing the point Bill, Moyes did the exact opposite to what he said he was going to do, he said he wouldn't be targeting Everton players once at United and that he did, why anyone would now give him a second thought is beyond me, he's history leave him there.

There are always spare seats at goodison for blues to get in, the problem with goodison are its restricted views, who wants to pay £40+ for a restricted view? Goodison is dated to say the least.

Baz29

{Ed025's Note - it is past its best baz, i want a new stadium myself mate..
