In Daily Mail Schneiderlin might be going to Roma, any other sources.

Wouldn't mind Rafa as can set up team properly when has proper finance. Also has vast experience of Europe and top players.

Second to that watched Shakhtar v Roma some top players Fred in midfield to play with Gana Under on right wing and also more fluid formation able to attack channels and high pressing line which is better defence than allowing opposition whole half of pitch to play in. Good moral and character to come back against top side.

I'm sure we'll get associated with lots of potential new managers between now and the end of the season, some possible and some just downright fanciful, but Sam is here until at least then so let's wait and see what happens.

great shout i would take rafa all day would work wonders at a club willing to back him.

Has anyone being watching the 6 Nations Rugby, last season England couldn't buy a win they where tackling man to man, lethargic, slow to build up play and predictable. This season they have increased their work rate, closing their opposition down very quickly, and tackling in 2 or 3 man teams not allowing the opposition to move the ball, and playing to their strengths which is a quick kicking game forcing their opponents back and playing in their quarter, making it easier to defend by making the opposition play quicker and longer and forcing errors.
Im thinking of sending recordings to Marco, as surely this is what Evertons style should be quick and aggressive football, because it seems like we play the same as everyone else just because theg play that way, and I am starting to get bored watching them making the same mistakes again and again.

seen it all on here now.

2.) 15 Feb 2019 13:53:59
On this subject Sky news did a feature this morning analizing our qwondrfull zonal marking at set plays etc. It basically summed it up as the players do not know what they are meant to be doing so not being coached properly or they do not listen. Allways ball watching etc.

3.) 15 Feb 2019 14:34:30
I would just like to see defenders defend. “There’s the ball clear it”.

4.) 15 Feb 2019 15:25:54
Man marking is set in their blood so it must be hard to then totally switch. Maybe some will never get it.

Thinking things through there are 5 areas that need addressing;
1 Zonal Marking - We can all see that it doesn't work with these players, obviously we need a fusion of man-marking and zonal. Runners need matching and best defenders marking their best attackers.

2 Fight - passion fight never-say-die, this needs to run through the team on and off the field these prima-donnas need to be told exactly where they stand.

3 Play to our strengths - Millwal showed us exactly how to do it got the ball in to dangerous positions on our flanks and filled the box for the ball in to box. We need to close down with a coordinated press from forwards and midfielders, winning the ball in the opposition's half and playing fr.

What are the other two points Blueboy?

I've just read an article on Football Fancast . com, about how Everton should think about signing ex-players; Barkley, Shane Duffy, and the one that got me thinking John Stones. I know how he left and was thinking his place at City doesn't look that secure and he might be interested if after the World Cup he's looking for 1st team football.

It got me also thinking about other positions, with Baines fully fit I honestly think Antoniee Robinson is a decent deputy especially after watching him up against France before the World Cup began, I agree we need a highly mobile defensive midfielder, and left winger has to be Hirving Lozano, the more I see of him for Mexico the better he looks, please, please break the bank and sign him would make the difference, reminds me of young Ronaldo but more fire in his game.

Duffy is an excellent centre back- for Brighton but not Everton. What has changed that we would want to take Barklay back? I can't see it. Stones was and is an excellent player with potential to improve. To make his signing feasible Everton would be the ones needing to improve.

Watching tv talking of players moving in the summer;

Gareth Bale, Toby Alderweld, Kieran Tierney,

That's what I think we would need for next season.

2.) 17 May 2018 14:46:54
yea let's sign injury prone players good plan.

3.) 17 May 2018 17:02:51
Tierney is a good shout but think he'll go bigger club than us if he leaves Celtic.

14 Mar 2018 09:58:32
With Kenwright and Elstone both leaving, who does everyone think will come in to their positions on the board. We don't seem to have anybody moving from the playing ranks up to the club management. This will be the opportunity we need for a fresh start.

1.) 14 Mar 2018 11:42:21
I think it depends Blueboy on who advises Moshiri on what to do next, plans should be in place already behind closed doors when and if they both leave at the end of the season we will just have to wait and see.
Definitely the start of a new era if Elstone, Kenwright and Sam go, think we will all be hoping for positive steps forward next season.

I'd rather have Arteta than Howe as said before he's too much like Martinez and not enough experience at top club. Where Arteta boast UCLexperience as player and coach. Most importantly as said earlier we need a whole new identity our own way of playing myself would enjoy a hard pressing physical style fighting for every ball against all comers whether playing top teams or lesser teams.

I think it would be worth playing him in the 10 role as he is strong enough to play up front and also decent with both feet, and can pick out a pass. This would free up both wings to bring in Lookman and Bernard, this would increase the speed by which we transfer defence to attack.

Anyone else remember Wayne Clarke ending their record unbeaten run at Goodison, am sure we went on to win the league that year too.

Didn't he play in qualifier for Scotland v England and was "MOM" up against premier league players. Some times the big fish in a little pond really is a big fish ie Coleman.

How can you even equate Wayne Rooney and Alan Ball, may be if he had played in same England team as Ball but as man of the match in World Cup final most feared player apart from Bobby Charlton for nearly ten years, and Everton wise part of a legendary midfield and league champions and FA Cup winning team.

442 far too old school in order to play fast pressing game like top teams to defend from the front you need to have either 3 or 4 players up front to close down opposition.
