If the rumours in the papers are true about a rift between players over Niasse and Davies, then Niasse has to go for me. He is not good enough for where we want to be and if he is causing a rift, get shut.

Blueboys1979

{Ed025's Note - i dont know how true it is blueboys but if it is the case then its the first thing brands has to sort out, the rags and especially the scum where this comes from love to concoct stories in order to sell their wares so how much of this is true is any ones guess, if there is even a grain of truth in it it needs to be sorted asap and the culprits brought to book mate..

1.) 24 May 2018 08:53:18
As Ed025 says the originating rag is nought but scum. Can't understand why many in the City still read or buy it, obviously not football people. However, if there is an element of truth then for me both players have to go. One player so far (yes I know he is young blah blah) has failed to live up to his initial scene burst and the other although contributing some goals, long term is not good enough for this Club. In any case if this fella Brands is as good as the majority of coaches, owners and pundits say he is, he will sort it. So far I like everything he has said, intelligent and commonsense.

2.) 24 May 2018 09:41:24
me personally get baffled by our fans wanting a young local lad kicked out the club because the scum have printed something that is in all likleyhood a lie we must be the only club that don't back our own as I have had many arguments in the lower Gladys with fans who can't wait to get on the local lads backs for me this is second season syndrome which happens to 99% of young players after they break through and having Sam in charge hasn't helped him for me Tom Davies deserves our support and let's see how next season goes after that we will then know if he is good enough.

3.) 24 May 2018 10:15:42
This is sensationalism of the highest order. If it was as bad as the story depicts it then you wouldn’t see anything like the team celebrations when Niasse scores.

The players must dread this time of the year between end of season and summer tournaments as the papers will lie about anything to get some print out there.

I will be surprised if 10% of this is true.

Ask yourselves this. Should every player need to put a transfer request in to oust someone who isn’t good enough to start when they are?

What a load of pony.

4.) 24 May 2018 10:24:29
Bluey79 I think the majority if not all of our fans will want niasse gone if this is true. I for one will be right behind Tom Davies as I am every time he pulls that shirt on. He’s one of us.

5.) 24 May 2018 10:42:08
'If'. 'in the papers'?
what do you mean IF true?
what if its not true?
Firstly its not in the paper (S) .
its in one paper. and the article gives a wishy washy story about absolutely nothing.
Heres one for you. it refers to Calvert Lewin as our 'hotshot' striker!
What if that's true too?

6.) 24 May 2018 10:53:26
Kingy1878 if only that was the case I don't know how many times I argued with people who couldn't wait to get on the lads back last season it's the only thing that I hate about some blues who can't wait for one of our own to fail me I think they should get our total support they are doing what we can only dream off.

7.) 24 May 2018 11:29:45
Gregg O'kieth from the Echo has shot the story down saying he has spoke to someone at Goodison and there answer was it's false typical scum making stories up.

8.) 24 May 2018 11:46:12
Bluey79 that’s good news if it’s not true. I’m not sure who you think wants a young local lad kicked out. I am a massive Tom Davies fan and cannot stand Niasse in a blue shirt, I think he is awful! As to where I read this, it was on an internet page where I read it, being talk sport.

9.) 24 May 2018 11:47:36
it was written by Custiss.
BS Ghostwriter. now there's a coincidence.

10.) 24 May 2018 12:09:22
No smoke without fire!

11.) 24 May 2018 12:10:08
Few issues here lads:
1. There was too much pressure on the young lads last season. Ideally they’d come into a team playing well and with confidence off the bench and when players are injured rathan play 40 games. Take the pressure off, let them make mistakes. We never 3 or 4 up so the pressure was always on!
2. Ignore any reports on transfers, back room squabbles or anything else really - especially if it’s in the s***rag. It’s the time of year for rehashed or simply made up stories to fill column space. If Niasse was a problem - he’d be out and there’d be no shortage of takers. 5 or 6 clubs would take him in the Prem alone.

12.) 24 May 2018 12:36:57
I was kind of hoping it was true, at least it would have been some kind of an excuse for the compleat rubbish that was on show over the season. It doesn't sound true, we'll just have to go back to blaming poor management and team selection along with players put out of position.

13.) 24 May 2018 12:40:01
Couldn't see Davies or Niasse causing this kind of trouble tbh. Look at the source and forget about it.

14.) 24 May 2018 12:37:58
BLUEY79, the way I read the story is that everyone was behind Tom Davies not Niasse so I haven't seen anyone calling for Tom to be kicked out.
Now I do love Niasse for his attitude on the pitch but if he is causing that much unrest it could point to a reason for some of the poor form some of then have been showing.

Obviously the fact its in the S*n is more than enough reason to treat this as BS, another reason is that for all of Big Sam's faults he never struck me as a man who would tolerate someone disrupting the dressing room to that extent.
as in all things at this time of year its probably better to wait and see before getting upset with any rumours that might appear.

15.) 24 May 2018 12:56:32
It's about as true as there being a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Y A W N.

16.) 24 May 2018 12:58:20
Curtis coincidentally is big friends with Gum chewing tosser Allerdyce.

17.) 24 May 2018 13:29:17
Not for one minute do I believe it, but if it comes out to being correct, we can all look back now in hindsight why Koeman was adamant that he would not play for Everton again and to look for a new club, quite possibly this could have flared up earlier in the season and kept quiet.

Only a thought but does make you wonder why Koeman was keen to offload Niasse, just trying to make sense if total bull, or if there is something in this or not.

18.) 24 May 2018 13:53:08
hello ToffeeAL ducksflysouth said in a earlier comment that if true both players should be sold.
I agree I love Tom Davies but as with Barkley some fans can't wait for Local lads to fail and as soon as they do a sideways or bad pass BOOM they are out of their seat giving him all kinds of abuse I look at it this way these kids are doing what we can only dream about playing and scoring at the Gladys street is all any Evertonion ever dreamt of and like you said these kids should get nothing but our support otherwise they will move to a club whose fans appreciate them.

19.) 24 May 2018 18:03:14
I find this really hard to believe. These things seem to seep onto the pitch if true. Before he left, Lukaku had a full blown row with Williams in the opposition half, while eto would refuse to warm up, repeatedly shouting "I am eto! ", so to see zero evidence of this between Niasse and Davies puts this in the bulls#1t column.

24 Jul 2017 18:42:32
New bid of £40m + £5m in add one apparently submitted for Gylfi. Do you think he's worth it. Seems a high price to me, but not my money. taking the cost out of the question, how good is he?

Blueboys1979

1.) 24 Jul 2017 19:48:24
At todays prices i would say yes, Swans know we want him, and will get what they can, can't deny he would be a good addition COYB.

2.) 24 Jul 2017 19:48:34
I think he is definitely worth it.

All prices are inflated this window. We are asking for 25m for Jimmy Mc.

He will guarantee goals and assists wherever he plays.

I wanted him above any other player this window, so if we get him coupled with what we have already got in, it will be the proverbial cherry.

3.) 24 Jul 2017 20:35:58
Definitely worth it for what he will bring to the team.

4.) 24 Jul 2017 23:10:26
In today's prices 25m for Jimmy Mc would be a steal for me.

10 Jul 2017 21:26:15
See Alan Myers is tweeting that we are interested in signing a striker, but won't confirm who. After being asked questions he said he would be very happy and could cost £30m.

Blueboys1979

1.) 10 Jul 2017 22:03:28
Dzeko?

2.) 10 Jul 2017 22:22:45
Now your talking cookie. Class striker and maybe your man from stoke as well 😋😋.

3.) 10 Jul 2017 22:39:14
Dembele is the number 1 target 30m .

4.) 10 Jul 2017 22:42:52
Be good if it is dzeko. good striker.

5.) 10 Jul 2017 22:56:27
edin dzeko being mentioned.

6.) 10 Jul 2017 23:33:15
Thought he said he plays in the prem and someone we've not been linked with before?

7.) 11 Jul 2017 01:31:44
Are you lot mad you would take dzeko for 30m?

8.) 11 Jul 2017 02:56:30
Could be Benteke. Just been reading an article linking him to us although no source was mentioned. I'd be happy with him as 1 of 4 top strikers. Never settled at the reds or given a proper chance and feel he would have a point to prove.

9.) 11 Jul 2017 06:19:09
I'm hoping its Dembele but he has been mentioned before, so don't think it's him. Aumbanyang would be good!

10.) 11 Jul 2017 06:55:20
while we have great expectations it is important that we have a target man i fear sir_loin is right it is benteke we are after not sure how i feel about it but what the hell at this point just want the games to start any player, cloud over him or not, is going to make us stronger. coyb.

11.) 11 Jul 2017 08:23:50
Was confirmed as being Benteke. Not for me thanks - but then that's why RK and SW are paid vast sums - and i'm not!

12.) 11 Jul 2017 11:46:56
I know I've asked before but are we still maintaining an interest in Kasper Dolberg from Ajax as he looks the dogs and seems to be one of those players the ball sticks too really skilful and an eye for a pass and scores screamers tap ins and headers he gets my vote.
Big C.

{Ed025's Note - we did show interest bigc but that seems to have waned lately, i dont know why though as like you i really rate him mate..

13.) 11 Jul 2017 11:57:11
Cheers ed fingers crossed it's a marathon not a sprint a long way till September 3rd we can but hope
Big C 😉.

14.) 11 Jul 2017 13:02:59
Pretty sure Dolberg wanted to stay at Ajax to develop.

15.) 11 Jul 2017 13:06:15
as far as i understand ajax not prepared to sell this year one for the future would be gutted if dohlberg ended up elsewhere and we didn't have a serious go for him.

16.) 11 Jul 2017 16:47:57
Bentake got a raw deal over the park, well known they don't play with out and out wingers firing crosses in, if Everton landed Siggerson, Benteke would have a field Day, prefer other targets but Benteke not as bad as some might think.

{Ed002's Note - This would likely be replacing Moussa Dembele as a target. Benteke is a good player but his form has run hot and cold on occasion. DEmbele is much younger but untried at this level.}

17.) 12 Jul 2017 01:31:46
Benteke scored 15 goals last season in a relatively poor Palace side. Hypothetically, if he can do the same for us, and we can get at least 5 goals apeice from Rooney and Sandro, then there's Lukaku's goals replaced. In my opinion Benteke could get 20 and Sandro and Rooney 10 apeice at a push so all in all would be a good signing.

He is also a far bigger threat in the air than Lukaku was so adds an extra dimension to our game. I get the feeling that Koeman wants several different attacking options, so that we can keep the opposition guessing and try something different that can change a game that isn't going our way.

07 Jul 2017 21:12:13
Rumours suggesting Rooney deal now agreed and awaiting announcement. Let's get behind him, he's a Blue again.

Blueboys1979

1.) 08 Jul 2017 08:21:17
absolutely mate, imagine if he scores more than Rom.

19 Jun 2017 14:37:31
Apparently we have just signed Nathangelo Markelo a Dutch centre back, presumably for the U23's?

Blueboys1979

{Ed025's Note - thats news to me mate..

1.) 19 Jun 2017 15:09:06
his club have leaked the story.

2.) 19 Jun 2017 16:52:42
It's now "Official"!

3.) 19 Jun 2017 19:47:26
Looks like it's done. Would imagine he is definitely one for the future.

Zidane anyone?

Blueboys1979

1.) 31 May 2018 13:47:55
I'd take him to play in our midfield.

27 May 2018 07:49:34
I understand everyone has different opinions about whether we should take the Michael out of the Reds, but isn't this part of football, isn't it what having two teams in one city is all about. Didn't one of their managers once say 'they are two teams in Liverpool, Liverpool and Liverpool reserves'. It's all a bit of fun, that doesn't make us bitter, chill out.

Blueboys1979

1.) 27 May 2018 09:06:44
You got to love gareth bale.

2.) 27 May 2018 10:19:43
The only saints player they never bought.

3.) 27 May 2018 10:25:15
Each to their own. the quiet approach works for me. a wry smile and. let them stew in their own juices.

4.) 27 May 2018 11:36:24
Are some people for real? Firstly i feel sorry for karius as a person. Horrible mistakes and he loses the game. But feel sorry for Liverpool? Not 1 bit. These are the same fans who as ed25 refers to pushing the everton coffin around when we nearly got relegated, these are the same fans who openly sang and celebrated Seamus coleman breaking his leg. When Mane got a red card for kicking the city keepet in the face the whole media came out saying it wasnt a red card. Yet when morgan got a red for not kicking Aguiero nobody says anything. There is a huge media love in with liverpool and they love to play up to it. Now that they got spanked it shows how reliant they were on one player and when he went off how average they look. I will personally take this opportunity to basque in their defeat. As far as i am concerned every blue should.

{Ed025's Note - i have to say that i wont ray, some of my friends and relations traveled a long way and paid a lot of money for that mate, i know what you are saying and all clubs have supporters that are extremists but 2 wrongs have never made a right im afraid but each to their own i suppose..

5.) 27 May 2018 12:01:26
Spot on blueray.

6.) 27 May 2018 12:22:18
We have had to put up with their fans taking every opportunity to take the piss out of us leading up to this final they thought all they had to do was turn up and being the mighty Liverpool they would win well they never won because the rely on Salah regarding taking the piss out of them I won't take it out of my mates because no losing finalist fans deserve that but I have to say I do on twitter and Facebook but mainly in replying to deluded reds who want to blame Ramos for trying to end salahs career or that they were unlucky or some daft remark about us for me they are fair game.

7.) 27 May 2018 12:26:10
I wish some people would put in as much effort supporting everton as they do taking the piss out of the reds, I couldn't care either way what they do.

8.) 27 May 2018 21:54:35
I make now excuse. I despise the shi#e across the park. Not for what they have won but for what they have deprived us of winning. I am blue, only blue, forever blue, and proud of it. I lived with a red for 5 years and it was painful. Rammed down my throat every day how we were a little club and not a lot of silverware. As far as I am concerned I never want to see them win. Blues who like to see the shi#e win trophies must be closet kopites. I like the banter, like having a dig when we get one over them, and will love the next few weeks taking the p##s out of my shi#e loving boss. COYB.

9.) 27 May 2018 21:56:17
Banter is ok if it is only banter.
Do I feel sorry for them? No Because maybe it will be their year next year.
😉.

10.) 27 May 2018 20:52:18
I am a blue as much as the rest of us on this site. I couldn't care how they get on but when they slag us off for being sh1t this season then its only fair that we return the favour. As for your friends and family spending a lot of money Ed25, a lot of evertonians spent a lot of money travelling for europa games. That didn't stop us being ridiculed by them.

{Ed025's Note - as i say ray its everyone to their own, reveling in another teams failure is just not my bag mate, i suppose it goes back to the halcyon days of the 80,s when both sets of supporters went to the game together and there was no trouble which set us apart from every other club, the cup finals at wembley where we were all in pubs singing "merseyside merseyside" and the trains and coaches were a sea of red and blue in equal amounts, nostalgia and old age has mellowed me somewhat mate..

11.) 27 May 2018 21:01:14
And at least they got to see dua lipa in them tight shorts.

26 May 2018 18:17:16
Wake me up when it is all over, whilst I pray for Real Madrid!

Blueboys1979

{Ed0333's Note - your time will come Blueboys. Silva will take you to the promised land...Quarter finals of the Carabu Cup. 😂

1.) 26 May 2018 18:55:26
Ha that made me chuckle. for a split second 😂🤣.

2.) 26 May 2018 20:32:55
Appalling sentiment from a so-called native of Liverpool Blueboys1979. When it comes to matters without these Islands, I am a patriot and would never ever wish for another Country or Club from without to defeat one of our own.

3.) 26 May 2018 22:05:18
Oh well That’s your choice, I can’t stand the cheating so and so’s!

4.) 26 May 2018 22:12:39
Have you forgoten that these hooligans prevented our best ever side from haveing a crack at the european cup? The media seem to totally and conveniently papered over that in their liverpool love in, they lose their one trick pony, and then are exposed for the jorneymen they really are.

5.) 27 May 2018 00:04:24
I'm with Blueboys1979, why would I want a rival to be successful? I am an Evertonian and only want to see Everton success and to wish a rival success is just something I cannot do, and to see a player of Jordan Henderson's calibre lifting a European Cup would just not be right, instead it's going to be a World Cup winning successful talented player in Sergio Ramos.

6.) 26 May 2018 19:59:13
Further than we normally get in that comp Ed0333 😭.

{Ed0333's Note - it’s hard to chuckle at the moment mate for obvious reasons.

13 May 2018 16:10:37
Potentially good news - This could be the last 45 minutes we have to suffer of Sam Allardyce!

Blueboys1979

1.) 13 May 2018 18:25:02
but we will still be left with the same rubbish players cos believe you me its not all nobhead sam those players are a fuking disgrace to this club and I hate everyone of them and would gladly drive them out of the club.

2.) 13 May 2018 21:04:44
calm yaself alan lad not every player is a disgrace some care, coleman, tosun, gana, jags, Baines you can see they try and put a shift in too much dead weight but to say you hate them all is a bit drastic.

14 Sep 2017 19:26:58
A we allowed to be negative yet, without people complaining?

Blueboys1979

1.) 14 Sep 2017 19:42:08
There's no defending them tonight 🤐.

2.) 14 Sep 2017 20:00:26
We are in big trouble. We have problems right through the side. Centre back upfront is just the start. The players look very unhappy. As soon as koeman starts naming and shaming it will get worse.
