Everton looking at Duván Zapata and eduardo vargas are being targeted as martinez looks for another cf

No point, get ngog on a free, with martinez's 'magic touch' he will have messi and ronaldo cleaning his boots in no time

2.) Chill swan

3.) Ask bobby to touch me swan. Let's me become bill gates.

Seen rumours of Jonathan Schmid joining from freiburg can play numerous positions but is mainly used as a winger

Bluezboy

1.) This sounds more believable, I mean I have never heard of him!

With lvg looking at the united squad is there any interest in cleverley also have u heard on rumours of any wingers martinez is interested in heard he rates mathew kennedy thanks for any info

Bluezboy

{Ed025's Note - apparently bobby really rates cleverley BB, got to say im not a fan though, adama traore from barca is heavily linked and would be a fine replacement for del boy..

1.) I noticed Ryan Ledson on the bench the end of last season. Maybe he impressed RM and he could be the in his plans this season.

2.) If you look at which youngsters were pre-season training with the senior squad in Austria, I think you'll get an idea of which players are considered readier than the rest. Likewise, if you see which U-18 players play in the U-21 pre-season friendlies, you'll also get an idea about who might be making progress.
One thing to note is that the first team requires players who are physically (and not just technically) ready, which is why the likes of Barkley - and Rooney in the past - we're able to step up so young. Most of the U-18s (scholars) and even some of the U-21s (new pros) are still maturing physically and need to be developed carefully. That's why imho loans at lower-tier clubs are right for them at some stage.

Any truth with the kalou link ed

Bluezboy

{Ed025's Note - we have inquired about his availability BB, but thats as far as it has gone at the moment mate..

1.) We've surely enquired about many players - after all, not only must RM's wish list of players (be it the original 6 or 7 he wanted, or the 4 he most recently mentioned) must include first, second, third, etc., choices. Likewise, there must be plenty of young players - home and abroad - who, if not ready for the first team, are worth bringing into our U-21 and U-18 setup.

Hold up with traore deal is that everton are also tryin to get lucas ocampos on loan as part of the deal, the besic deal to be completed tuesday or wednesday

Bluezboy

1.) Interesting comment about Lucas Ocampos.

2.) Hard to believe we'd get ocampos, big strong running winger wit 2 great feet.i think we'd b in a queue there.

Maxime leatienne a target

Bluezboy

1.) A player we were interested in when he was 17, a left winger and a Belgium under 21 International . He is widely expected to leave his current club FC Brugge this summer. Valuation 8 -9 mill .

Ben arfa linked not sure as he has the talent but seems to have attitude problems think he would benefit under martinez

Bluezboy

1.) 01 May 2014 08:16:27
why does everyone benefit under martinez? any player linked suits our play style, from andy carroll to pappis cisse, doesn't work like that, ben arfa can stay where he is, injury prone, chubby, selfish and has one good game a season, not good enough

2.) Good player but moody, and don't we have enough wingers?

3.) Ben Arfa is a class act who has lost his way under a terrible manager. He is a remarkably skillful player whose day will come. This lad will not go off into obscurity, someone's gunna pick him up and then you'll see what he can do.

13 Mar 2014 01:11:34
James millner one year left on his contract think he would be a great signing

Bluezboy

1.) Really!! Not good enough.where would he fit in.to slow for the wing.never has a chance of taking McCarthy, Barkley or Barrys place

2.) 13 Mar 2014 07:36:43
he is awful, one of the worst players I've ever seen alongside cleverleh, he works hard but can't do anything, slow as hell, can't cross, can't pass, can't beat a man, cannot pass, can't use his left foot, it in fact, he can't use his right foot either, great signing my arse, he's never done anything

3.) Not good enough for us but he plays for one of the best teams on the planet

4.) I didn't need to scroll down to know there would be a comment from Swan. And he didn't disappoint! Your not a fan of his from the past I remember, anyway I kinda agree but think the lad when played in centre mid is a good player. He is no winger and has been turned into this versatile fit for all purposes player and ruined as a result. But when at Villa he was an ambitious box to box centre mid who could link play, score goals and protect the other end. He was the sort of midfield player Degsy keeps going on about we need, someone who will join the attack and grab a few goals. Whether he is that player now remains to be seen though.

5.) You guys would be lucky to sign somebody of milners quality, you must be joking if u think Barry & McCarthy are good players, there average at best these players is what's stopping you qualifying for the CL, if you wanna play CL then think like CL fans i'd welcome Milner at Liverpool be a good squad player to have.
and where would he fit in? Seriously? He could play anywhere in your mid and be your best player.

6.) And this site appeals to you because. maybe your a secret blue

7.) Looks like no good crack on the LFC site.give me McCarthy over Lucas or Henderson any day.

8.) Milner could be a good signing but what about his wages? He could certainly add something to midfield or out on the wing but to be honest we've no chance financially.

9.) Guys some of you make ridiculous comments. I remember when Barry signed that some of you said he's not good enough etc. Milner is a quality player that would be an amazing signing.
And would have to agree with the Liverpool fan that he would walk into the starting 11.

10.) I'd agree with those suggesting he'd be a good signing.
However I can't agree with our RS friend, he'd walk into our midfield and be our best player when he'd be but a squad player for the mighty liverpool. The implication obviously being, somehow, Henderson, Joe 'Xavi' Allen and Lucas are on a different level than Barkley, McCarthy and Barry.
Yep, still arrogant, foolish and deluded then!?

11.) 14 Mar 2014 13:10:15
Milner would walk in our starting 11? Who for, mirallas, mccarthy or barry? Ha piss off, imagine him on the wing running at you, its like danny la rue coming at ya, there is nothing scary about it whatsoever, he is woeful and that's a fact and hello kopite for life or whatever, have you really been one for life or did you only start supporting them in 2005? Anyway he should walk into your team aswell, especially with crap like joe xavi allen, the second best holding midfielder in the world after yaya toure (lucas btw) and '70% of the world is covered in water, the rest by jordan henderson' I mean what's that? What absolute tosh, bye bye

12.) Yeah that's why with your "great" midfield your 9 points off a fourth team with 3 games in hand? And we're 4 points off the top with our crappy mid? Ok guys! You need to face it every year u seem like your challenging for top 4 but time & time again somehow u seem to finish 6th or 7th, it's the same story every year.

13.) And so it goes - I haven't actually got a relevant point so i'll change tack and throw in some sleight of hand to deflect from the original point eh, Mr lfc?

14.) The fact we even challenge for top 4 given what we spend compared to you is a testament to our club. Mocking us and our league position is pathetic. As is the fact your even on our page

15.) 14 Mar 2014 20:40:05
Swap suarez and sturridges goals for any other strike force in the league and lfc would be 12th at best! They have nothing to do with an ageing stevie me la, jordan sideways hendo, joe xavi allen need I continue? I'll state this one for u aswell, sterling is an overrated ballet dancing one trick pony, leiva is as bad a holding /ball playing midfielder as charlie big balls adam. Your only prospects of midfielders I would even consider taking to a everton team in transition are moses(who is on loan)and coutinho. So to sum up liverpool fc are an average side at best without suarez, sturridge and coutinho. Please correct any of my statement lfc fan if u can, but back it up with theory

{Ed025's Note - don't rise to him Craig, we all know the score, if we had Suarez and sturridge, we would be 12 points clear at the top, and likewise if they had our defence, the both mid fields are equal for me mate..
