Did well at Wham and made me slightly gutted we didn't win that race. No show at Forest. Was it an attitude problem or was he not deemed good enough? Seemed a big drop off either way from the season before being one of Whams best players. Can't be any worse than Danhoofer or can he? These seem to be the type of deals we are shopping at these days. Any thing lingard did was 3 years ago, since then he has done nothing, 31 and hasn't played regularly for how long now, another deli, plus I've also read we are not intrested, we have an intrest in bownhil but that's also as a loan, but would see Burnley slowing it unless we would pay a sell on fee after his contract runs out this season.

Mate of mine is a Leeds fan and apparently Gnonto has no release clause went from pushing for the move to saying he didn’t want it today. Apparently he reckons another PL side is interested. Don’t really blame him as he probably doesn’t want two relegations in two seasons on his CV.

Even if DCL had been for the last few years, we’d still have been short, and we’ve signed dozens of players in that time. I’m not a manager or a DOF, but I’d have sorted that problem out a long time ago. I know a good number 9 is hard to find, but we’ve not even taken a punt on one.

We know DCL and Delle are on the mend from physical injuries
Gomez not sure why he didn’t feature but if he has an injury then fair enough but if he wants to go it makes sense for him to be left out.
I think Cannon must be going even though he has an injury you’d think he’d have been at Finch farm or watching us from the dug out. SD said he wants four in well that’s two done two to go and still early days.

Maupay has got to be the worst striker I have ever seen in an Everton shirt and that really takes some doing that does. I’ve seen some terrible strikers pull our jersey on but he really takes home donkey of the day award.
Just watched highlights and he’s 6 yards out, puts a volley 15 yards over the bar.
He’s 6 yards out and puts a free header 6 yrds wide.
Free shot on goal after good play, penalty spot. Straight at the keeper!
He’s so terrible at football! I can honestly say that my 5 year old son would have done better with all three of those chances!

If we stay up, avoid administration and get taken over. if. We will need to buy/ sell much better, this we all know.
I would like us to get in younger hungry players from the Championship and abroad. However you do need already ready players. I know swap deals rarely happen but one I would propose is - Onana to Arsenal in exchange for Nkeitieh and Smith-Rowe, or one of them and cash to us.

Ironically that's exactly what Barcelona proposed for ONANA this week . If we stay up and we should if we start scoring, you can put your house on the relegated teams trying to sue us . If we go down, we could be replaced by a team that broke the same rules at the same time as us . This season just gets crazier and crazier. ? looking forward maybe teams should forward their books end of every season or financial year and get a credit rating or limit for the coming season would help stop a lot of this nonsense. The big boys would have more to spend of course but that's the way it is . Poorer clubs would have to be more proactive in buying and developing players eg Tim Cahill . Ps anyone caught cooking the books automatically relegated .

Adam Wharton, 19 midfielder at Blackburn meant to be very good.
Agree we need to sell big where possible and invest in freebies and youth.
I like DCL but we could get some decent money still and having Beto helps softenthe sale, I'd sell him and Onana. Try keep Branthwaite as long as possible because he is class.
Play Dele for 6 games
I'd also have Barkley back, looking very fit and playing very good attacking, skillful football again.

The club was given an opportunity to reprive themselves after approaching the Premier league about the overspend for the 3yrs upto end of 20/ 21 season, but did not adhere to the Premier leagues rules as they kept on spending, even though some were players also sold.
Apparently the commission allowed for £180m overspend for stadium costs, academy, Everton ladies and C.V. etc, so actually we overspent by about £300m in those 3yrs.

Yes, Onana was hit and miss but will hopefully come good. Caciedo was integral to a Brighton team much better than us. Their transitional play from defence to attack is massively better and he was central to that as well as defending.

What makes a player Prem class? You could argue its the better players in relegated teams and most players in teams from 17th up. From the list in original the original post McNeil, Harrison, DCL are definitely prem class. Are they top 6 players? No but they are good enough to play in the Premier league.
