Did anyone see LB on TV last night when asked about what would happen at half time, players asking about changing tactics and about being more direct?
He was very coy as expected and seemed to be holding back
A found it quite interesting and got the impression that he felt the same as the fans

{Ed025's Note - last night smelt of player and fan revolt DB, but like the fraud he is, he still took the credit mate..

I thought Baines looked edgy too. Although that direct ball to Lukaku seems to have more effect than our endless passing approach

Is it me or has the introduction of Stones resulted in us conceding silly goals again and therefore another loss?

What are you talking about? Stones was took off not only before we conceded against West Ham but before we went 2 - 0.

He's still getting blamed. Maybe I'm missing something.

Its easy to blame someone NBTB, no wonder the lad wants out, not long ago Lukaku was getting slated too, oh yeh and Ross, McCarthy, Barry and Coleman, we get beat let's blame it on anyone.

Martinez is to blame for that, Norwich, Bournemouth and more, can't be arsed using brain to think of the others, 2-0 up with 10 men and 15 minutes to go, let's hold on to that lead, not go for more, i'm writing this season off completely as don't exactly hold out much hope in the FA cup

Roll on the summer when our new investor has his say.

If its RM let's get behind him and show him some support. Given a proven solid regular defence he may well surprise us all.

Peolpe slagged DM off enough times for being negative at least we may have an attacking minded manager who will be willing to take the game to the opposition.

He may even get the strikers scoring again and if he does; well who knows?

Can anyone tell me the amount of money we would generate from finishing 4th or 5th in the EPL.
And how much of this would be dependant on getting through the knockpout stages of the CL.
Also does this new TV money increase from the start of the 2013/14 season?

Cheers

1.) The difference in prize money between the league positions of 4th and 5th would only be about a million. But of course, 4th brings CL and qualifying for that would generate 20mil straight away.

2.) It's around £800K (not sure of exact figure) per finishing position. So 4th or 5th would be respectively worth around £13. 6M and £12. 8M. CL qualification has no bearing on this - UEFA give separate prize money for how well a team does in that. Huge TV money starts next season - that's why so many clubs are panicking and replacing managers for fear of relegation and missing out on that media income.

3.) Finishing 4th means the play-off round - like we had in 2005 - and the big money only comes with the group stages and beyond.

4.) Good info that Tommy

If you think Koeman and Moyes are in the same mould you have just lost your argument mate.
And as you said he got sixth with limited assets whilst losing assets at the same time.

"Honestly think our fans don't know how to aspire to greater ambition"

"Our fans" does relate to us all? your words not mine! Pot Kettle Black?

Koeman - Prem experience and has done well for 2 seasons in a row now, safe pair of hands for me and a big enough name to attract decent players.

Simone - Does not speak English and this would be a massive disadvantage. He also turned the Russian Rubles so highly unlikely he would come to EFC

De-Boar - by all accounts RM in disguise, if you where so against RM I would assume you would know better. Maybe not eh

Emery - Would be my second choice.

In my opinion he looks lazy and struggles 90% of the time with his 1st touch.
