Yes because Levy will try and get a £5m deal done as his contract will only have 6 months on it. If he doesn't sign now then leave him training with the U23 as its clear he wants to be off in January or for free next year, we need a dressing room of players who are committed to Everton and to what we are trying to achieve, the same goes for Mirrallas too.

Just a question for the Eds. if Man Utd win the Europa League they then qualify for the Champions League, then if we finish 7th do we still enter the Europa League in the earlier stages or later, as we would then be The Premier League's 2nd qualifier not 3rd?

Totally amazed by the negativity and naivety of a lot of fellow Evertonians (or does the transfer window just bring out our manic depressives? ) . For a long time now we have been screaming out for a Goalkeeper, Centre Back, Central Midfielder and a Striker ie: a stronger spine to the team . Now unless I have lost my marbles due to reading so many boringly negative posts, have we not brought in Stek, Williams, Idrissa Gueye and Valencia (albeit on loan) to fill these positions?
With the added bonus of the performances of some of our youngsters namely Mason Holgate and Tom Davies and the promise shown by others surely this is the time to be more positive than for many a year instead of all the doom and gloom from certain posters who seem to derive great pleasure from criticising the board , the DOF, the manager, who some suggest have made us a laughing stock during this transfer window?
Well if this is what being a laughing stock feels like I wish it had happened years ago as I can only see that we are a team on the way up with the right people at the top who are not used to failure. COYB.

Apparently the statement to pull out was made after their bid was almost doubled to match ours which obviously they could then not renege on, maybe it's just me but when I look at Mr. Moshiri's face I see someone with a smug smile who knows exactly what he wants and how to get it, a bit of a 'laughing assassin' I suppose.

There you go Howie. Marko Arnautovic should be immediately in front of a shift from Stoke City to Everton. According to "crown" the 27-year-old has already signed a four-year contract on Tuesday the transfer is to be officially confirmed. Made possible the transfer a release clause of around 15 million euros in the Treaty of Arnautovic. The Viennese could be a replacement for striker Romelu Lukaku, who is about to finish.
The traditional club of Liverpool ended last season in eleventh place, two places behind Stoke. Exactly, this puts more pressure on our defence as Sigurdsson just strolls around like he does wherever he plays, he can't run, can't tackle just stands there waving his hands telling others what to do instead of getting stuck in himself. How he gets on the pitch continues to baffle me!

Obviously with the squad at present minus Coleman and Bolasie. I'd have a slight preference for Kenny as he his a better crosser of the ball and a more natural right back than Holgate (not knocking the lad) .

To be fair to Ed02 he's like that to other club's fans too (especially the dark side) so you can't fault him for his consistency. Myself I love his sometimes caustic comments but more so his knowledge and detailed information which is pretty amazing considering he's not even a football fan. Hopefully he will be back soon as to lose him because of one twisted cretin would be a massive loss to our site.

What a total idiot you are son, all the Eds give up a lot of their time to keep these sites going and to keep us best informed to their ability, but unfortunately keyboard warriors like yourself can ruin this for the majority . To even suggest that someone is a 'cancer' when sadly young Bradley has just died beggars belief, let us hope you don't have to go through the same trauma as his parents but if your parents have to go through this then wouldn't that be Karma.
