Yahoo news article of defender (on loan at Derby) sinking his Porsche in a muddy pit following (?) a Sat-Nav disaster. Oh how I laughed!.
Worth a look, pictures and all.
1.) The best thing is its sad in reallity, that a defender at a young age of 20 is driving a £100k car were are the values in life stars before they even make it not just him the lot of them,
2.) I was looking through an old programme from 86 the other day and in an interview with Paul Bracewell he was saying how he had must treated himself to a new Ford Sierra, he was an England international playing for the best team in Europe at that time. How times and values change.

3.) Everton has never been the best team in europe ever! {Ed025's Note - its about opinions mate...i believe we were right up there in 85...
4.) Hey Ed, is there a certain event in history we are not allowed to talk about? I respect and understand that decision if so but then comments about our European standing shouldn't be allowed because it is the obvious response. Not many of the younger generation are aware we were banned from playing european competition at a time when we had the best team in our history. {Ed025's Note - i just dont want the site invaded by reds who may see things different mate..it will turn into a slanging match, and things will get nasty, we all have a view on it..me more than most!, but the site frowns on inter team nastiness, its just not worth the hassle mate..
5.) Fair enough Ed. I guess it's another example of us Evertonians having to suffer in silence! That period of football still hurts me, it would have changed everything had we won a champions league and fact we didn't get the chance with that team has left a scar since i'm not sure when il see an Everton team performing at that level again, if ever! We live in hope though right! {Ed025's Note - yes mate, what might have been hey!...that team was class, and i have said before, at that time i feel we were one of the best sides in europe, sadly we will never know..

After yesterday can we please stop this Martinez nonsense?. He would be a disaster for us.
1.) What just because his team rolled over to Liverpool? I remember a certain other team that rolled over to Liverpool last season also and that teams manager is suppose to be good.
2.) Been saying this for a while aswell mate. Most seem to want him as he is foreign, has a tan and wears a nice suit. The guy is tactically inept and has seemed to have spent his entire managerial career in the bottom 5. I don't like Moyes, (never have done and never will do), but even he has more tactical acumen than Martinez.

5.) Frank De Boer would be my first choice, although we have no chance of getting him.
A more realistic one would be Lucien Favre from Monchengladbach. Although I doubt we will go for him either.

6.) I'm going to get laughed at but for me Paul Lambert is great. If he keeps that villa team up it will only strengthen my opinion. Now I think we will promote from within with Neville, but looking around realistically there is no stand out candidate that would 1) improve us 2) see us as a realistic destination, your Hiddinks etc
So let's just hope Moyes stays hey

7.) Agree with Mike. Martinez will always be a no for me. Too much time spent in the relegation dog fight for me, despite there always being some good players at the club.

8.) I would agree with you about lambert svenny, he's got a youth team at villa and did well at Norwich

Ed001, could I please suggest that Ryan would need a lot of work to even be considered for "moron" status? . He is way below that achievement level.
An object lesson to us all as to what happens when Mummy doesn't get you into Pre-School early.
