{Ed002's Note - It will I assume appear in L'Equipe and be repeated elsewhere. Everton spoke with Chelsea yesterday afternoon and Chelsea explained the terms that Everton would need to match (effectively what had been agreed elsewhere). As it stands right now I understand Everton said that they agree earlier but I am not sure if they can get everything else done in time - Plan B would be to risk any medical is subsequently OK and just pay what the player demands to push it through.}

Nzonzi and Lascelles being linked this morning. would take those 2 all day long as Lascelles not such a rick as Mina as has premier league experience. add to that Rashford on loan and big bid for Moussa Marega then we're in business! . impressed with Marco Silvas ruthlessness in shipping out 4 more of the dead wood this morning, goodbye to Williams, Martina, Vlasic and Mirallas. that'll make room for some of the youngsters to come through like Dowell etc. slowly but slowly the right decisions are being made by the manager. at least he's had the guts and courage to do it where Koeman and Sam didn't! OllBlue1878 - I went to the Porto friendly in Faro. Although Marega scored the only goal of the game - trust me when I say this - he is an absolute donkey. He reminds me of a slightly more composed Victor Anichebe. It’s the one thing all of the fans around me in the Everton end commented on throughout.
I know it’s only pre-season, but you just know a donkey-type player when you see one and he will never change. The way he runs, his first touch and control, it is an absolute blessing that West Ham are in advanced talks to sign him.
On the other hand, Yacine Brahimi to West Ham would be a dissapointment, he gave Seamus Coleman nightmares, freakishly quick and incredible turn of pace.

Playing some good stuff going forward, big improvement there than b4.it’s in defence where we’ve been white again - Jags is clearly past it, Keane doesn’t look comfortable in possession, judging by Silvas animation on the touch line he’ll be investing in 4 new centrebacks next week lol.

Keane, dream or get rid you mean, Keane has been awful pre-season, as he was most of last season, we need 2 new centre backs asap! Gibson and Mina would be good.

. the point I’m trying to make is that we keep getting told as supporters that the powers that be at the Club have ambitions of Everton breaking into the top 4, but the facts of the matter are that we havnt won anything or any silverware/ cups for 30 years? There’s probably a reason for this and as our club motto is ‘nil satis nisi optimum’, let's for the first time in 30 years show some ambition and go for a manager that has won silverware and has those credentials to help us achieve those aims and be the best, for me Benitez would be good but I will back Silva if he gets the job!
